WTH!?!?!?

my2monkeyboys wrote: I officially have ONE pair of pants left that I can wear at all, and today they have started cutting into me. I don't understand -- I didn't start showing until I was almost 11wks with Will, and I've already lost 7 lbs this time. I tried to put on a normal pair of pants yesterday bc my "fat" pants (the ones I have on now) were in the wash. The normal ones would hardly button and zip and made this weird bulge at the bottom and a bulge at the top and actually hurt.
Surely I can't be showing at only 8 wks, but what is going on???

TrulyBlessed replied: Yes, you can be showing at 8 weeks. LOL!! I started showing around 6 weeks this time. Your body just knows what to do. smile.gif

Sam & Abby's Mom replied: yes--- isnt it insane?!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crystalina replied: I'm lucky I can still fit into my jeans!!

this week. wacko.gif

A&A'smommy replied: wink.gif I know the feeling I outgrew my regular pants REALLY quick this time around!!! TRY the bella band its AWESOME you can wear your regular pants with it!! thumb.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Maybe you are a little bloated and don't realize it or retaining some water....

My3LilMonkeys replied: I think it's definitely possible - I didn't start showing that early this time but at about 22 weeks I am WAY out there and haven't gained a pound yet. You're probably gaining baby and losing other places which is working out really well for me! thumb.gif

my2monkeyboys replied: Between my boobs and my lower belly almost all of my clothes are tight somewhere. I just don't want to be one of those that wear maternity clothes so early that other people make comments that I'm a nut job or something. Not that I really care what other people think about me... but I guess in a way I do. blush.gif
It could very well be water retention or something like that, I just don't know what to do about it to make my clothes fit again.

I didnt start showing until I was maybe 5 months and that was only to the people around me. I didnt start showing for everyone else to notice until I was 6 months, so I'm sure the next time around it will be 6 weeks! laugh.gif

A&A'smommy replied:
seriously bella band they are AWESOME!!!

Crystalina replied:
laugh.gif If you need maternity clothes already then get them but just don't get any of those shirts that say "Baby" with an arrow pointing down. rolleyes.gif I hate those shirts. Bad enough your big but I don't need a huge arrow or blinking neon sign bringing more attention to it. happy.gif

my2monkeyboys replied:
Those aren't my favorites, either. I saw a shirt at Spencer's a few months ago that said, "I'm knocked up, not fat!" I thought it was funny - crude, but funny. That sure would be fitting for me right now, though. laugh.gif
I'll check out that Bella Band - thanks!!

A&A'smommy replied:
rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif thats hilarious!!!!

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I loved the bella band...unfortunately I hadn't heard of them until after i went out and bought maternity pants at 8 weeks. I was sooooooo bloated. it calmed down at probably 12 weeks and then I used the bella band to hold up my pants that were too big biggrin.gif I also used it after to cover my lovely stretch marked surgery scarred stomach when I was nursing

Crystalina replied:
I saw a shirt the other day at Kmart that was cute, it said, Don't worry it's not yours!. rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

Sam & Abby's Mom replied:
Wow - I wish I would have known about those Bella bands with Sam and Abby. My maternity pants would always fall down and I'm sure it wasnt because I was so skinny. LOL

Crystalina replied: Does that Belly Band really hold the pants up or are you always adjusting? I'm going to be pg all summer so is it hot? Ugh! I dread summer pg. wacko.gif

my2monkeyboys replied: I know - I felt so HOT when I was pg with Will until Oct and I will be pg with this one (God willing) until Nov. I can't imagine how miserable I'd be if I were delivering in the middle of August!
Those Bella Bands look neat, but I'm wondering the same things. The only times I had trouble with my pants falling down was when I wore the lower-covering ones. Of course, I have such a short torso that the higher covering pants literally covered all the way to my bra. I was so sexy....
