WTH? - Is this weird?

luvmykids wrote: Ok, I'm not a tracker of my cycle but I do know that 2 weekends ago, when the kids went to FIL's, I had AF. It suprised me because although I don't track them, they are always 6 days, no matter what, some times heavy all 6, sometimes light all 6, but 6 days nontheless.

Last time it was short, only 4 days, and I thought it was strange. Well last night I felt crampy and this morning, there's AF again. It's only been 2 weeks.

I'm not on bc, I've had my tubes tied so it can't be that kind of thing. Has this happened to anyone else?

BAC'sMom replied: Sounds a bit strange to me. I have also had my tubes tied, but I never had anything like that happen.

Have you been under any stress lately? wink.gif Stress can sometimes make your cycle haywire.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Sounds like stress to me Monica. I know this has happened to me during stressful times. hug.gif

amymom replied: I was thinking stress, but I see that has been suggested already. rolleyes.gif

luvmykids replied: rolling_smile.gif Thanks guys, I guess I can narrow it down to stress, stress, or stress!

I am pretty sure that's the culprit, just didn't realize how stressed I've been I guess. rolleyes.gif

Just a thought, I have a friend who had her tubes done 17 years ago and she has a 7 year old daughter................................

lisar replied: I had my tubes tied 8.5 mths ago. I only had that happen once. If I was you I would make an appt. with my GYN and see if they can help you

lisar replied:

Its true my GYN made me sign something before he tied mine saying that there was a 1 in 400 failure rate.

kimberley replied: i agree with lisar. there may be a hormone surge or change. go get your blood drawn to rule out any problems. i am sure it is nothing to worry about anyways. hug.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I bet it's just stress. I have had this sort of thing happen. wink.gif Your body can do some weird things under stress. hug.gif
