We adopted 2 new babies

As we were walking out. A guy with 2 puppies was walkng in....Right when I saw them I knew I was in trouble....The dogs were pure bread, but they were an accidental breed and he couldn't keep them. How could I not take this face with me. He was going to sell them to the store for 300 and they were going to resale them for 900....He just needed the money to cover the shots really. When we asked him how much he said he would let us have one for 100 bucks. The store manager got so ticked off that he told him he couldn't sell the other one there.

FYI, I've had some trouble with my rats reacting poorly to the wood shavings. If you notice Fancy scratching a lot, get some care fresh bedding. It holds the smell off better than wood shavings and it doesn't smell like you have a small rodent in your home.

Gunner is an English springer spaniel

OH yeah I wanted to add you might want to start brushing him as soon as you can because as they grow and their hair grows it knots REALLY bad we kept our springer shaved she looked funny but she felt SOOO much better that way but then its get above 100 degrees in the summer. OHH and they REALLY do spring its incredible!!!! I miss mine SOO much

Thanks for the tip...I have already started...I need to clip his nails next....Lucky for me that Dh use to be a dog groomer back in his day....So was his mom..so she gave me a bunch of tips..
Their grandma bought them the pets as gifts.
mckayleesmom replied: The kids are both doing really good with him....He is huge for 8 weeks old. Sometimes its hard for me to remember how young he is because of his size. He is adjusting pretty well....The kids have been very gentle and loving to him.
Get this...Dh wasn't totally for the dog or the rat.....But guess who kept letting the dog sucker him into letting him sleep with him?....Leithan....I think dh is in love. He even said that this was the first dog we have gotten that he actually likes and doesn't just tolerate. 
He is still not in with the rat thing, but he knows he has to be nice because its Mckaylee's baby...
