We already have names picked out

If this baby is a boy it will be Benjamin Jason, the name we have had picked out since I got pregnant with Maddie.
If it is a girl it will be Hannah Marie. About 3 weeks ago (while we were ttc) I was reading in the Bible the story of Hannah (for those who don't know Hannah was barren and prayed for God to open her womb and He blessed her with a son). As I read it, besides being encouraged by the story itself I realized how much I love the name Hannah. I looked up the meaning and it means Grace of God. It was truly the grace of God that got me through these past few months so I mentioned it to Jason and he agreed that our next daughter should be named Hannah. I'm leaning toward it being a girl for this very reason, but whatever God sends will be perfect.
Thanks for reading.
coasterqueen replied: Oh Jennifer, those are both beautiful names. I didn't know that about Hannah . That would be a fitting name if you have another beautiful daughter.
Kaitlin'smom replied: awww that so great
DansMom replied: That's so weird, last night I thought about the name Hannah, and that I really like the name. It is beautiful. Benjamin is a great name, too.
4littleladies... ? or.... ?
5littleladies replied: Lol-I haven't thought that far ahead yet. Maybe after I know what the baby is I'll start working on it.

Josie83 replied: Great names! Would you use Ben or Benjamin? I like the name Hannah too. And of course I think Jason is a fantatsic middle name I bet Edie agrees with me too! xx
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Oh, My favorite story in the bible. Hannah's prayer is stenciled above Ethan's bed. "For this child I have prayed..." I love the name Benjamin. Did you consider Samuel? (the name of Hannah's son) That story is so symbolic to me in so many ways. Especially when I think of you. Children are such a gift from God and I prayed for both of my children. Not only did I pray that God would give me children, but I too turned my children over to God (in dedication) when they were born.
5littleladies replied: We dedicate our children after they are born also. I think it is so important for us to remember that our children are gifts from the Lord and they are really His children anyways. I love that you have that verse over Ethan's bed. It's such a beautiful verse.
I didn't think about using the name Samuel for 2 reasons: #1 We have had the name Benjamin chosen since I was pregnant with Madeline. It means "son of my right hand" and if we ever have a Benjamin I think he will be our only boy so I think it fits. #2 I really, really think this baby is a girl and I think God chose the name Hannah specifically for her. I guess we will see though.
Josie-Don't laugh but if it is a Benjamin we will probably call him Benji. At least that is the plan so far. We will see what happens.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Same reasons we used Ethan. We had it picked out for so long that we couldn't imagine calling our little boy anything else.
I am praying for you. Boy or Girl, this baby will be so loved and part of a wonderful family.
