We are back! - The cruise was a blast!
mommymonster wrote: Here are some pictures I took of the ship and a sunset that a photo does not do justice to! I definately would love to go on another cruise and we only had one rough water night! It made the kids and I a little scared, but every employee said that what we thought was rough was actually normal waters! Enjoy the pics
kayla's mama replied: I love cruises. I want to go again, soon. So where did you go? The sunsets are just breathe taking.
luvmykids replied: AWESOME! So glad you had a good time! I've only been on one cruise, a 4 day, and it was waaaaay too short! What did the kids think about it all?
mommymonster replied: We went to Costa Maya and Playa de Carmen. The kids thought it was awsome. They were alittle nervouse one night when we had a small storm come through and the boat was rocking pretty well, we all had gotten a little sea sick, but by morning we were all ok. I could not get over how wonderful and friendly the crew was and how attentive they all were with all of the children, I felt very comfortable letting the kids walk around with out us. Of course I had told them that they were not aloud to walk anywhere outside on the decks or by the pool, but they enjoyed exploring the inside of the ship. We had secret eyes on them all the time, they felt 'big' for being able to go off on their own Playa de Carmen was beautifu, we went to the snorkal excursion and it was at a beautiful place, cant remember the name, but it had a lagoon and beach and iguanas walking around every where. The kids play area was perfect with shaded trees and a playground and a kids pool. Costa Maya, well it was pretty when we docked and maybe it was just the location we were at. but the beach at the shore was really not 'use-able'. It was real rocky and had sharp looking boulder rocks at the edge of the sand and water. So we just did not want the kids getting cut toes and feet. They had a aonderful shopping plaza, the kids had fun learning how to make deals on what they wanted to buy
Bee_Kay replied: WOW! Your pictures are gorgeous!! Glad you had fun!!!

Hot weather???????
BAC'sMom replied: Great pictures, looks like fun! Welcome back
mommymonster replied: We went on the Royal Caribean cruise line and the resort we went to on Playa de Carmen was called "Xel-Ha" they have Dolphins you can interact with (for a fee) 'Snuba' (uses floating air tanks instead of having them strapped on),Sea trek- moon walking in water with out getting wet, Aquaventura snorkling- that is what we did and we loved it! They have a lazy river and kid play area.... it is a great place to go even if you go straight there and avoid the cruise all together, there are decent hotels new the resort.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Looks beautiful!! I cannot wait to take the girls on a Disney Cruise when they are a little older. Glad that everyone loved the trip!!
