We can't seem to catch a break!!!
MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: I took Logan to the ped tonight for his 15 month shots. (Yes he is late, but we lost 6 weeks post op where he couldn't have any shots.) Needless to say, he didn't get his shots. He has had a cold (and ear infection) for about 2 weeks now. But when the ped heard his breathing he immediately said, "Kelly, this sounds like RSV. I think he should be rechecked again before the weekend and have a chest x-ray." GRRRRR!! RSV!! I hate that. My poor little man keeps coughing himself awake and screeching. It is going to be a long night.
holley79 replied: Oh Kelly. I am so sorry. Bless his little heart. I hope that it isn't RSV. I hope that it is just a cold and will be gone very soon. He's such a sweet heart and such a strong little man.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Aw, big big hugs! The poor guy - I hate it when they're sick but it's the worst when they have a cough. I hope it isn't RSV, and it goes away really soon! Lots of P&PT's ~ I hope you're able to get some rest tonight too.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Oh, Please Help Me!! He has been crying off and on for half an hour. I know he's sick, but if he can't/won't sleep, how will he get better. And I am exhausted, I've worked 17 of the last 21 days, 10 hours a stretch and I totally need to sleep.
holley79 replied: I wish I were there sweetie. Annika isn't letting me sleep so I would be more then happy to stay up with him.

Kaitlin'smom replied: Kait had a mild case of RSV when she was about 4 months old. I hope he gets some sleep and gets better ASAP
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Kelly I am praying it is NOT RSV! Something that always helped Tay at that age thru colds (and RSV once) was the old steam up the bathroom trick(with vapo bath in the tub) followed by Vick's on the bottom of her feet and then into footed P.J.s my grandma told me to do that and it worked-she did not like the coldness of the gel but they make a lotion now for babies(and small kids) and it is not as strong and it really helped her breathe and sleep!(the lotion i put on her back too) Also Little NOses makes decongestant nose drops-they hate them-but they really worked- I don't know what Logan can take so sorry if I am just I pray that he gets better really soon!
fashionmumofboys replied: I hope you got some much needed rest last night and Logan to.
How's is Logan feeling today?
Many many PT for Logan for a quick and smooth recovery.
BAC'sMom replied: hope he gets better soon
Oscar replied: I send cyber hugs out to both of you its the worst when there sick. Its even worse when your both exhausted, I wish you both the best of luck! Oscar
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Just got back from the ped. They took an x-ray and it is NOT RSV or pneumonia. It is bronchiolitis with a really croupy cough. The ped recommended I dose Logan with some Benadryl to help him sleep tonight. I think I am going to take him up on that one. He was up about every 2 hours for 30 minutes at a stretch. So I was too. He is finally napping. Abbie, I'll try the vicks on the feet thing tonight. I love the baby vicks stuff. We can't use decongestants, but the simply cough stuff by tylenol we can use and will use. Also, I am going to get the humidifier going in his room about half an hour before bedtime tonight. Thanks for all the hugs guys.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Kelly~ SO GLAD it is not RSV! I don't know why the Vicks on the feet worked but it did-who would have guessed that one Thank Heaven for Grammy! Get better soon Logan!
moped replied: I do the vicks on the feet trick too - LOL
So glad it is not RSV, and hopefully you and him can get some rest - soooo sorry!
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I'm so sorry for you and Logan, Kelly, but at least they found what it is! Wil's had a slight cough for about a month and my doctor keeps saying it's just a cold.
Hope he gets better soon!
MyLuvBugs replied: Oh Kelly that horrible. Poor little man! Get well vibes for him are headed your way.
