We made ornaments over the weekend - pictures inside

MommyToAshley wrote: Ashley's cousin's (ages 8,10,13) came over to help us make Christmas ornaments this past weekend. Ashley had a blast. I used a simple recipe with flour and salt, and then the older kids had paint markers, glitter glue, and some other craft supplies. Ashley got to decorate hers with washable markers from Crayola. smile.gif

It was my first time making ornaments, and I think next time I will look for a better recipe. But, everyone had fun, and that's what matters.

I didn't think to take pictures while they were making the ornaments... silly me!
But, here is a picture of Ashley hanging her ornaments on the tree. She made a car and and "A" for Ashley. I had given them a whole box of cookie cutters, I guess Ashley didn't want to make your traditional Christmas ornaments. rolling_smile.gif

MommyToAshley replied: And, here she is doing a "hanging of the ornaments" dance...LOL!

MommyToAshley replied: Here's a picture of a few of the kid's ornaments as they dry. Ashley made me the gingerbread man on the left wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif It's the present that I will cheerish most, and it's a magnet on my fridge. wub.gif
