Wednesday Check in 1/26

Kaitlin'smom wrote: sad.gif Well needless to say I fell off the change in eating plan (dont like the word diet). Its totaly my fault and I take full responsibility. I was dissapointed last week in only dropping mabye 1/2lb. I know better now that any loss is still a loss. I also came up with a reward for myself once I get this 20lbs off. So off to change the ticker to reflect my gain.

How did you all do?

mammag replied: Well, surprisingly enough, after my chilli dog incident rolleyes.gif , I stayed exactly the same horray.gif . I thought I was going to gain because I haven't really been eating good most of the week and not working out as much as I should. I think the weight training is helping. I still feel like I'm recovering from those 135lb squats!!! My legs still feel wobbly every now and then! That's probably what kept it off because my metabolism is kicking up. Next week will be a better week.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I'm a loser!!! banana.gif I lost 2 more pounds. horray.gif I'm down to 155 now. I'm feeling better and IMO looking better. I'm proud of myself. biggrin.gif I honestly never thought I could do this. This is the most I've ever weighed and I've never had to 'diet'. So, while 155 is still heavy (for me) I have some more to lose, but I know I can get there! happy.gif Off to change my ticker!!

booey2 replied: For those that stayed the same or didn't lose keep on working at it it will happen. WTG Aimee, isn't WW wonderful that you can eat what you want and still lose weight. I will check back in tonight with whatever I did this week as my meeting is at 7:30pm so I should be back by 8:30pm. Have a great day all you losers.

texasp3 replied: Yay for the losers! thumb.gif

Okay, can I join? I absolutely HAVE to find some motivation, someone to kick me in the pants occassionally, somewhere to be accountable. I can NOT keep eating Oreos for dinner. wacko.gif

It took me 7 YEARS before I buckled down and lost the weight I gained when I was pregnant with Michael ... I spent those years 60 pounds overweight. I have high blood pressure problems and arthritis... two things that really get worse when I'm heavy. This time I'm determined NOT to spend all those years heavy and miserable. Plus, I'm almost 40 and really can't afford to abuse my health.

So... if ya'll will do me the honor, I'd like to jump on your weight loss wagon. I need to lose about 37 pounds... depending on how much exercise I manage to add also. Mostly, I want to get my BP down and fit into my wardrobe... I refuse to buy new clothes!!

Are there any rules of the road here?

alice&arik replied: I havn't lost any. sad.gif I stayed the same. But I didn't eat very good this week either and I know that is why. I just need to work on that some more. happy.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied:
sure your more than welcome to be part of the 'losers' group. thumb.gif

no real rules, we have check in every wednesday and are just looking to support each other in our endever to drop some pounds.

start this week by seeing how much you are and then next week you can check in with loss, same or gain.

Maddie&EthansMom replied:
horray.gif YAY!!! I'm so glad you're gonna join us!!! banana.gif I will keep you in line! thumb.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied:
can you keep me in line also? laugh.gif

I did get some smart pop popcorn to munch on at work when I have thoes munchies, have to find something else for home until we fix or get a new microwave....its burning EVERYTHING

Maddie&EthansMom replied:
I will! thumb.gif

Try to find some healthy alternatives to curve your cravings. Even though you aren't on WW, you can buy their food or sweets to help get you through. I have to admit they are the best out there. I normally hate TV dinners, but theirs are very tasty.

If you like ice cream, try the Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches. They are low fat, low calorie and they are DELICIOUS! yummy.gif I eat one everynight (only 2 pts) Can't even tell the difference in that and ice cream. wink.gif

booey2 replied: There are also some chips/sticks out there called skinny sticks and they are great. I think Walmart might carry them in the states, here I get them at our Shoppers Drug Mart. Great job on the popcorn.

Kaitlin'smom replied:
thanks Amiee I might try some of thoes things, I so want some of this weight off and sometimes I am so impatient about it, but yesterday and today so far I have been doing really well.

Kaitlin'smom replied:
will have to look the next time I actually go to wal-mart, they changed them to the super wal-mart now I cant find anything sad.gif

texasp3 replied: Thanks! I'll go make myself a little ticker! tongue.gif

Boy, with Aimee to keep my in line, I'd better be good. I can't fib to her either, coz when she sees me, she'll know if I've been telling the truth or not!! LOL!

momof3angels replied: Hi, mind if I join too? I am Jeanine, and I am the mom of Gabriel (8) Dominic (6) and Mikayla (will be 1 on Feb 10). I have had three c-sections, and so my tummy is total mush and I have the weight of 3 babies to lose lol. My max preg weight this last time was 185, and I lost 20 pounds in the first 8 weeks. After I got the go ahead from my Dr, I began a weight loss program and rapidly lost 19 more pounds...that is until I gained all that back over the summer mad.gif I just couldn't get a routine going with the kids home. Well, I started trying to get back into shape just before Christmas and Am slowly losing again. I am down to 154.5 pounds. I can't really diet (still BF'ing) but am trying to watch what I eat and fighting cravings. As for exercise, I try to walk whenever I can and the weather cooperates, and I am doing a mommy and me pilates class with Mikayla. Pilates has been great, so I also invested in some videos and bands. Anyhow, I initially wanted to get back to 120lbs, but as that isn't very realistic anymore my goal is now 130lbs. If I only get to 140 lbs I will be satisfied. Thanks and yay to all the "losers"!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: wavey.gif Hi Jeanine! I like your tickers! smile.gif I'm glad you are going to join us losers! biggrin.gif Like I told you before, we will be each others accountability partners and we will all reach our goals together! thumb.gif

booey2 replied: Hello and welcome to the greatest group of losers. I am back from my meeting and am down 1 pound this week. Yeah I am finally out of the 300's. Next stop the 100's.

Maddie&EthansMom replied:
horray.gif horray.gif horray.gif GREAT ATTITUDE TERRI!!!! WTG on your LOSS!! I'm very proud of you! Keep up the good work!! banana.gif

booey2 replied: Thank you for the encouragement. I am really trying to keep up my positive attitude this time around. I also have a great leader, she keeps us so motivated and last nights meeting was all about keeping the weight loss journey fun. She had me laughing so hard I almost peed my pants. Anyway we talked about all kinds of stuff including activity and I just started to giggle she asked why I was laughing and I said the s*xercise counts toward your activity points. She laughed and so did the group. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

ammommy replied: Hi everyone! I've been MIA due to home stuff, but glad to be back. I weighed myself thisAM and surprisingly lost a pound thumb.gif I was sure that I had gained with the way I have been eating.
Terri---congrats on the milestone. Keep it up! It sounds like you have the right attitude (care to send some my way laugh.gif )
Congrats to all of the losers and welcome to the newbies.

jcc64 replied: Down 3.8lbs this week, at last! I'm trying not to see this as a diet, more of a lifestyle change- and I have been absolutely religious about exercising, which I'm even prouder of. Congrats to all the losers out there.

booey2 replied: thumb.gif redbounce.gif redbounce.gif party.gif party.gif

"Weigh to go", keep up the great work.

booey2 replied:
