How are you feeling? Are your clothes fitting better?
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I wasn't very good this week. I didn't eat well at all. And I hardly exercised at all. Anyway, I am down 2 this morning. I don't feel very good since I've been eating bad and not exercising so I hope to get back on track starting today. My clothes are definetly fitting more loosely, but I can't see where the weight is gone. Some friends can tell, but I don't feel like I've lost at all. AF is here this week and I've been so busy this week. I need to get back in motion. I've been LAZY.

mammag replied: I stayed the same this week but I did my measurements this week and since last month I've lost 1 inch around my waist and 1 inch off my bootie! so that was wonderful news! I'm getting closer to my "ideal body weight" so it will come off slower plus I'm lifting so I'll be gaining muscle (I hope). I'm not as worried about weight as long as I keep losing inches in those two areas.

What did I eat? Nothing. Except for maybe some Jello, Pudding, soup.
What excercise did I do? Nothing. I layed on the couch for 4 days straight. Oh except that trip to the ER could be considered cardio.
Yes I was sick. I had the all-out flu. It wasn't very fun at all. But at least I lost a few pounds. Now hopefully I can start working out maybe tomorrow and keep the downhill thing going. But I am so weak. I had to make a few trips to the grocery store to get medicine and I could hardly stear my car. :(My legs are so sore, if I have any pressure on them they hurt so bad. I hope I didn't lose a lot of muscle with this.
booey2 replied: Hi, not sure what the scale says, will know better tonight after my meeting. However that said the water at work has been off since Monday and I have been ill and really eating anything of substance still Sunday. Hopefully I will be down but my body does strange things when I don't eat. Exercise has been literally non-existent this week, gotta do better next week. I will post again later tonight after I WI, I don't trust my scale at home as it is very unreliable.

I'm down two more pounds! I stuck to my diet (hating every minute of it - bad week)! And still am not doing anything in the exercise department except lugging/chasing Gabriel!

Could be better, but Iwill take what I can get I actually would have done better except I had my sons birthday party-drank too many sodas, ate pizza and cake, etc... Exercise, I am still doing my pilates and I rollerbladed to pick Dominic up at schoolagain (5 miles r/t) though I hope I can do even more this week! Of course, Mikayla's birthday is tomorrow, so cake will be involved  Aimee...don't be too hard on yourself! Two pounds is still great!
Alice...congrats on the four pounds, but I do hope you feel better!!!
ammommy replied: Yeah to all the losers! I BROKE 180 That's just a loss of a pound, but it's a major hurdle. I haven't been in the 170's for 3 years. Just inching closer and closer to my goal. Now for the hard part---keeping it up. Everytime I see progress like getting down a size, I blow it by gradually introducing crap back into my diet. Not this time, da#nit!!! As long as I keep white flour and sugar at bay and drink my 80oz of water, I'll be OK.
I have worked out 4 times in the last week at the gym. What helped me was getting a personal trainer. Expensive, but worth it. I finally figured out why I would work out and see no results. I wasn't working out in the correct "zone". We did an anaerobic threshold test (sp?) to see where my heart rate needs to be to burn fat. It was surprisingly high (that's a good thing). So basically, I have just been killing time at the gym these past years and not burning fat. I recommend getting this done to anyone who is frustrated about not seeing results from working out. The gym I belong to does the test for free.
Aimee, I hope you feel better soon. That's not a fun way to lose weight.

3_call_me_mama replied: I am down 4 lbs, been eating pretty healthy (except a coiuple days when i had a chocolate bar...... major stress at the center!) But been having salads most days for lunch... Haven't made it back to curves yet cause i've been swamped! But chasing around 30 kids keeps me on my toes so i guess that counts as excersize.... also my new pants that i mentioned last time are fitting good, not a tight fit anymore, but comfortable... even right out of the dryer! YEAH!
