Weigh In (5/19/03) - For those interested....

My goal weight is 135 lbs. (preferably 125, but we will start out slow smile.gif )

I weigh in at weight watchers on Wednesday evenings. I'll post my results so far and then update on Wednesdays.

on 4-12 I hit my 10% goal of 22 lbs biggrin.gif
on 5-14 I weighed in at 185.00 (27 down) biggrin.gif
I set my goal at 174, the highest for my height and bone structure. I did this because once that goal is made, and maintained for a few weeks, I'll be a lifetime member and won't have to pay for meetings anymore...sneaky I know! rolling_smile.gif
I would actually like to be about 160 but I haven't weighed that since highschool. It's a goal though!

I'm just happy that I don't have to shop in the "big girls" section anymore. That really depressed me. bawling.gif

but I will just say over all I would like to loose 25lbs.

Today I am 235lbs. My goal weight is 160. So that makes 75 to lose!! (25 from PG, 50 from before)

PS and I'm with you on the big girls section...my dream is to walk into any store and be able to find something that fits me. I also don't look like I weigh as much as I do, or at least I don't think I do. 160 is about 20 overweight still on the "charts" but that is what I weighed in 8th grade and I think it is a reasonable weight for me even though I'm only 5'4"

mckayleesmom replied: I am only 5ft 1 and I weigh 144 now, I got up to 172 when I was pregnant, I had her almost a month ago, but just from the c-section alone I lost 25lbs which was nice. The rest I have to work on. I also would like to say that I am extremely busty and that in itself I think makes people look like they weigh more then they do, at least for me it does...But hopefully I will be getting them reduced after Im done breastfeeding. I am not going to diet though. That is hopeless for me cause I will cheat. I am going to start swimming at the Y and doing those windsor pilates....Ive have some friends that do them and they say they work really well and they don't look too hard to do.

mckayleesmom replied: it is a new exersize that is similar to yoga, but it tones your body more and helps make you more flexible. There is an infomercial on about it early in the morning around 5, I think it is on the superstation. I am up breastfeeding around then so I watch it, but I have friends that do it too. The lady who invented its last name is windsor. You can order the tapes for 40. 00 I think, but I do believe they sell it at walmart too. I don't know, it could work, it might not just like anything else, but this you can get your money back if it doesn't work.

I Have been doing WW since Jan and have gone from 255 to 233.6 at last weigh in last Thurs. But after celebrating that Sarynn was ok biggrin.gif I am 235 today. I did not walk at all last week or count points with all that was going on.

So I am trying to get back on track today. I would love to be held accountable to you ladies as well at my meetings. I think Monday weigh ins are a great idea. Maybe it will help me from going crazy on the weekends.

I am not posting my weight yet, but lets just say I've got you all beat...ACK!!

Because I am PG, I won't be starting with you, but will be here with you all as soon as I get un-PG !!

~CrazieMama~ replied: Hey ladies, I guess I will post my weight. I am quite tall so my weight looks less than what I am. I am 5'10 and weigh 165. My goal is 155. My highest was 230. I think I have come a long way. That was with my son. I gained 65 pounds. With my daughter, I only gained 28 pounds. Happy weight loss!!!

Doubt it! I was 290 before loosing 20 pounds, 270 when I got pregnant, 274 right before I had Jaci, and 250 after. So here I sit, at 250. So I have everyone beat! rolling_smile.gif I finally win something! lol (But I am 5'10")

I would be happy just to get to 225 (for now).

maliksmommy replied: Well I weighed myself last night. I weigh 173. My goal is 155 but I would be happy with 160. I am 5'9" so I don't want to lose too much just enough to fit comfortably in all my clothes and look half way decent in a swimsuit:) Good luck to everyone I know we can do it!

booey2 replied: Sorry I have been away from the boards, life has been kinda hectic and we just had a long weekend. Any way I will sign in with my weight and height:
before ww: 308.6 current weight: 262.8 goal weight: 140 height 5'4".

Current: 166 pounds
Goal (after pg of course): 130

I'm not dieting at the moment, but I am SERIOUSLY watching what I eat, and I make sure to get at least 10 minutes of some kind of exercise every day, even if it means that I get off the bus a few stops away from work/home and walk the difference.

Maybe we should do a pg lady weight-GAIN check in? rolling_smile.gif
