Come one and all, losers and gainers. Tell us what happened this week, any new mini goals, etc. Don't be shy, we are here to support not judge!
I went from 148.6 to 146.8. So that's 1.8 pounds down. I looked back in my journal from last year and I got down to 146.8 on December 14th, it's taken me a bit more than a month to get back to that weight. VERY DEPRESSING! BUT I'm back on the track for weight loss and I'm going to run with it and look forward, not back at the 5 weeks it took me to get back a loss.
Off to change my ticker.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: I weighed in at 194.0 this morning... I'LL TAKE IT! I went down from 195.8, so down 1.8 pounds!!
3_call_me_mama replied: Weighed in today.... down 1/2 pound from last week. so back to 228 1/2 pound is still a loss so i'm not complaining

TANNER'S MOM replied: Well I guess I am down a permanet pound. I have been borderlining.. 152 and then shoot up..but this week 152 all week.. Go Mel!

Kaitlin'smom replied: I am up a 1/2lb. I felt VERY discouraged this moring and was thinking oh well its NEVER gonna happen. So yes I skipped breakfast, and got a Vianilla Steemer, YUMMY. Now I am chugging water. I know I did not get enough water in yesterday. I am not sure why the little gain I have been doing better with eating, water and working out. I feel better than I did this moring, Kait helped pick the grumpys off and we satdown and took some time to learn, we worked on shapes and numbers this moring and she requested to look at letters this evening. So I am in a better mood and wanting to keep woring on it.

Hang in there! Being down 1/2 a pound could be any number of things, like retaining a bit of water, etc.

ammommy replied: Congrats to all of the losers. I'm up 3 pounds and don't know why I"m going to take my measurements to see how they stack up. I expected a gain because I haven't been able to work out much and I've been eating pre-packaged food instead of cooking, but I really didn't expect 3 pounds. Oh, well, today is a new day and I have half of my water in already. Hopefully, it's temporary.
coasterqueen replied: (HUGS) Lisa. Maybe your body has been so used to not eating pre-packaged food and that's why it happened. Think positive and look to next week.
A&A'smommy replied: Well I'm a lb less than what my ticker says but I have been that for about four days and I was hoping for more... I am going to try and not cheat this weekend.. I can't wait to go grocery shopping we have NOTHING right now

ammommy replied: Thanks, Karen. I"m hoping that some of it is water retention from the salt in the prepackaged stuff. I'm going to live in denial for a day before I change my ticker and try to flush some of it out. If the numbers are the same tomorrow, I'll bite the bullet and change the ticker.
5littleladies replied: I'm down to 129 so that's good-I technically only have 3 pounds to go before I hit my goal weight, but I haven't been able to do much in the way of exercising so I'm not getting toned or anything which is what I really want. Stupid wrist.

You know when I lost all that weight after Kylie I lost it all first doing WW then started working and getting tone. I thought about doing that this time around, but decided against.
So it's ok to lose first then tone, IMO.
A&A'smommy replied: OMG I would absolutly DIE to be at your weight right now my BIG goal weight it 4lbs from what you weight right now!!!
Your doing fine don't worry about not exercing you will when you can!

booey2 replied: Wow great work ladies, to all the losers. Giant to all who gained or maintained. I know it can be hard to lose, I am proof of the that. Just wanted to share my congratulations to you all.

Change up your diet and exercise a bit and see if that works this following week. If you aren't already, keep a diary of what you've been eating and whether or not you are working out and see if that helps. It always helps me when I look back on what I've eaten and makes me go "Hmmmm....maybe I wasn't as good as I thought I was." I struggle with my eating so that's always MY reason. I can exercise all day and night, but I really have trouble avoiding certain foods.
Hang in there ladies! Please don't give up. Pick yourself back up and keep going. You can beat the battle of the bulge!

I need to try harder to get all my water in but I'm getting better about exercise at least. My body has finally figured out that I feel better when I get up and exercise than I do if I sleep in.
Rileysmom replied: I lost 3 pounds this week!! I started 3 weeks ago and I'm down 9 pounds altogether. I'm really proud of myself. My DH and I are having a competition to see who can lose the most weight. We started exactly 3 weeks ago and it end on his birthday--April 7th. Whoever loses the most gets the next new car that we get and the loser has to give the winner a striptease in whatever outfit the winner picks out. So far he's winning with 12 lbs lost, but I'm not far behind

My3LilMonkeys replied: Just to share something I've learned - men tend to lose weight faster and easier than women. Maybe to make it more fair you should alter your deal to the highest % of weight lost based on your body weight, like they do on the Biggest Loser?
Great idea with the competition though - what a great motivation, a new car!

ammommy replied: Ha! I was right. I reweighed this AM and lost 2 of those 3 pounds that were on the scale yesterday. I'll own up to the 1 pound gain, that was all me. But, it looks like 2 pounds were water
