Well...
Danalana wrote: we're teething!! He's a couple of days over 3 1/2 months now...I got my first tooth at 4 months. He's been drooling a lot for a while, and now I can see the white outlines of his 2 bottom teeth getting ready to come in...the top of his gums over those teeth have what look like indentions/holes. I'm gonna miss his sweet toothless grin
my2monkeyboys replied: awww.... he's growing up! I sure do love those toothy grins, too, though! Will didn't get any teeth until he was 11 1/2 months, so I got plenty of time to enjoy the gummy grins!
Sam & Abby's Mom replied: holy baby bottles!!!!!!!! That is early. yay for Kade
Danalana replied: Well, they might not pop out for a while yet, but he is on his way. I'm not totally sure how the gums are supposed to look, but I can see the outlines (in white) of his 2 bottom teeth on the front of the gums. He has had one diaper of mild diarrhea the last 3 days (each day), and he never has that. You should see how he bites down on my fingers (and his hands or anything else he can get in there), and he is in Heaven when I rub his gums. I haven't had any other babies, but I would say that's teething. Now watch them not pop out for months
Mommy2BAK replied: wow thats crazy!!! Ayden still doesn't have any teeth yet. Hopefully it will take Kade a while to get an actual tooth b/c I've always heard that the longer it takes for them to get a tooth the better teeth they will have.
Danalana replied: Oh.....then that's another reason I want him to take a while! But i got mine early, and mine have always been fine *shrug* Who knows...

Dylan is almost 18 months - he has FOUR - yes only FOUR teeth
mckayleesmom replied: Mckaylee had practically a full set by 5 months.....Russell it took forever...He was over a year when he got his 1st tooth.
A&A'smommy replied: awwwww thats nuts I can't believe he is big enough to start teething
Danalana replied: I just had a talk with him and I told him to hold off...so he said he would
Sam & Abby's Mom replied: Our pediatrician told us teething (how early/late you get your teeth) is definitely hereditary..............so I guess Kade has a 50% chance of getting his early like you!
DillsMommy replied: Yay Kade! Try not to let him bite you--it'll HURT! Both Dylan and Peyton started teething at 3 months. Peyton already has 8 and more on the way!
MoonMama replied: Holy sheep!

luvmykids replied: I can't even remember when mine started teething, how sad is that?
Good luck to both of you
HuskerMom replied: How exciting! I remember I was so excited when I saw Keith's first tooth starting to poke through. Gummy smiles are cute but so are toothy ones!
ZandersMama replied: Zan was only I think about a month and a half old, maybe two months, and they all came in quick. He has horrible teeth. Zav was around 4-5 months and his are perfect little pearly whites.
Congrats Kade! Don't bite momma!

Dana I was sure that Andrew was teething from the time he was about 2 months until he actually got his first tooth at 8 months, (there's a perfect example of an overly anxious and impatient new mother ) but it does sound like Kade is teething! Also even if his teeth don't actually make an appearance for awhile yet, it could still be his teeth you're seeing under the surface of his gums - sometimes they just seem to like to hover there for awhile. So if it takes awhile don't go thinking you were just crazy.
Danalana replied: But it's so easy for me to feel crazy

moped replied: Seriously Laila has been teething forever with no teeth yet.................
