MoonMama wrote: bawling.gif bawling.gif For two whole weeks! bawling.gif bawling.gif He left early this morning so I tried to stay super busy today. Took Braedin and went shopping. Got a TON of new clothes for him (great deals too BTW), he needed them he starting to out grow his newborn size. bawling.gif I remember when I never thought he'd fit into newborn size let alone out-grow them. blink.gif When did that happen? sad.gif sad.gif And a bunch of stuff I didn't need but wanted. blush.gif And tomorrow a good friend of mine and I are going for mani's and pedi's, I've never had a pedi before so that should be fun. happy.gif Lets just hope I can make it through the next two weeks because I am missing DH like crazy already! bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif

Before he left he gave me a box (from a jewelry store biggrin.gif). And inside was a beautiful white gold heart with Braedin's birth stone in it. bawling.gif wub.gif love2.gif

sparkys2boys replied: hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif I'm sorry that your DH had to go for the two weeks for his work. I am sure that yo will miss him. I think that trying to stay busy is the best thing to do, try not to spend to much time thinking about him not beng there. And SHOPPING is always a great pass time!!! Here's hoping that the two weeks go by quickly for you.

coasterqueen replied: Ah, what a sweet DH. wub.gif

Sounds like you have plans to keep yourself busy. Just continue to do that and maybe even do some projects you've been wanting to do but haven't. The two weeks will fly by but you will miss him. Hopefully you two can talk or IM each other every day, that always helped Dh and I when he was away that 3 months.

Like everyone already said - STAY PREOCCUPIED!!! I hope the times flies for you. I can't even imagine Garred being gone for 2 weeks. Just this past August, Jaden and I went to a family party in northern Wisconsin and stayed the night.. by time we got home and I saw Garred, I was so happy to see him I cried. Literally.. But I'm very emotion person. wacko.gif

More hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif 's to you! Stay strong and busy!

redplaydoh replied: My DH travelled a LOT with his job when my boys were newborn. One of the big reasons we moved to Switzerland, so he wouldn't have to be gone as much.

The first few days, and the last day are hard. Keep yourself BUSY BUSY BUSY over the weekend because for me that was the hardest part because those were days he should've been home. The time will pass quickly... hug.gif

MoonMama replied: Thanks everyone. hug.gif hug.gif I'm having an ok day so far today. thumb.gif
