Well...I have an interesting update! - **Good and Bad**
Boys r us wrote: She is STILL a girl!!!!!! WHEW HEW!!! That is the good news! The tech said that there is no question, she identified very specific girly parts!
Baby Bella looks perfectly healthy from the measurements that they were able to take today etc..
The not so good news is that fromt he ultrasound today they were able to detect that I have Placenta Previa. For those who aren't familiar with the term, it means that my placenta attatched to my uterus wall in a position that makes the placenta obstruct the birth canal and if it stays that way, then it is not possible for me to have a natural delivery and I will have to have a C-Section. Not the end of the world..but still not optimal news! It also means that we can't have intercourse anymore. But on the bright side of things...it also means that I will get an ultrasound at each visit from here on out. The doctor said that it is possible for the placenta to move as my uterus grows...so that is why I'll be having a u/s each time to monitor any change in the position of my placenta.
Here are some pictures!

and a couple of 2D face profile pics:

luvmykids replied: Glad she is still a she!
KUP on the future u/s, sorry about the news but I'm glad it's nothing worse!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Awww! She's still beautiful! I'm glad she's doing well.
Sorry about the placenta previa. No sex, really? Ouch. The c-section will be fine. At least you have time to prepare.
luvbug00 replied: Aww and is she sucking her thumb??
MyLuvBugs replied: I'm so glad she's still a she!!! But you take care of yourself with that placenta previa. That can get pretty scary as you progress KWIM?
coasterqueen replied: Yay, she's still a girl! The other...pretty much what I had to endure with Megan. It's highly possible it will move for you to have a natural birth, but they may have to watch it closely. My doc had to watch my situation VERY closely.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Glad to hear that she is a she!! Sorry about the placent preva, hopefully it will move and you won't have to have a c-section!! Cute pics!
moped replied: I love her already! A C-sec is not the end of the world - I vowed I would NEVER have one and guess how Jack came out due to emergency! Either way she is perfect!
PrairieMom replied: sorry about the plaenta previa, but its nice that you get an ultrasound every visit! Personally, I would trade sex for ultrasounds! Great news that she is a she, and didn't grow a sprout!
kayla's mama replied: Yay!!! she's still a girl!!!! How cute that she's sucking her thumb Can't wait to meet her
jcc64 replied: Glad she's still a girly girl. About the placenta previa- my sitter had it, and other than having to take it a little easy near term and be watched a little closer than usual, she was fine. The placenta moved out of the way near the end and she was able to have a healthy vaginal delivery. Not the worst news in the world, Nichole- I bet it'll be fine.

CantWait replied: She's gorgeous Glad it's still PINK.
Sorry to hear the bad news, but as long as the baby is healthy, that is what counts. It sucks for no sex though. Oh well, there are always other ways to have fun. We'll leave that for the other forum though
MommyToAshley replied: Glad to hear that she is growing well and doing fine. And, that she's still a she.
Sorry to hear about the placenta previa, but sounds like they just have to keep an eye on you. If you end up having a C-section, just remember that it's the end result that matters most, not how she got here.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: I thought the same thing!
Glad to hear she is doing so well and still Bella! Yikes, no sex...I wouldn't like that news....but not the end of the world I suppose.
3xsthefun replied: Aww! How sweet! I'm glad she is still a girl and doing well!
gr33n3y3z replied: Oh look at her I can see what is what now lol
She is so cute sucking her thumb
ediep replied: yay, I am so glad its still a girl!!!!!
Sorry about teh placenta privia....I hope it turns out to be no big deal!
My2Beauties replied: Nichole I had this too, I absolutely freaked out at first - but after research I found out it's actually quite common in the first two trimesterds and the placenta normally moves as you move further along in the pregnancy. Oh, and I had 4 u/s alone when I was pregnant with Hanna - so that part was awesome, all b/c of the placenta previa, so that is definitely something to look forward to. You will be just fine! I bet Baby Bella will be gorgeous
Brias3 replied: Glad she's still a girl! I had placenta previa with my last pregnancy. However, my placenta did not end up shifting on its own. Things went well though despite the situation. Worse that happened was that I was on partial bedrest (meaning when I was home, I was to be immobile and was supposed to limit overall activity as a whole) and ended up having to schedule a planned cesarean with Mason about a month before he was actually due. Hope all goes well....looking forward to meeting your new little princess!
Ashlynn's Mommy replied: That's great new's that she is still a she. I'm sorry About the placenta ordeal. I'm sure everything will be fine.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Awwww what cute pictures!
I'm sorry to hear that you might end up with a C-section, I hope that things change for you!
A&A'smommy replied: awwww honey well there is WAY more good then bad in that!!! I think she is going to be absolutly gorgeous!!! Hey when are we going to see belly pics
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Well the first part is GREAT news! YAY! But as far as the placenta previa goes, I'm sorry. My friend had it too, but the placenta ended up moving by the time she was due. Unfortunately, she had a c-section anyway, but it was for other reasons. Anyway, it's possible it may move. But if it doesn't, it's not the end of the world. I know I told an awful story, but just remember, women have c-sections all the time. I don't think people would elect to have them if they were that bad, kwim? Maybe I'm just a wimp...lol! You'll be okay Nichole...
KUP regarding your appts, k?
