Well, I just don't know - Maybe its time?

I just don't know if it is becuase I'm off my meds now, and this is just what I am going to do for days or weeks until the baby arrives, or if I am in actual labor. This happened with The Boy too, and I was in actual labor that time, but my contractions eventually started to hurt. These don't seem to be doing anything.
My Dr is out to lunch until 1, (About an hour from now) so I will give him a call then and see if he wants to see me, or if I should go to labor and delivery or what. I would hate to get there and be sent home.

lisar replied: Let us know what they say. I hope everything is okay. Every 3 min since midnight thats a long time. They might just want to check you and make sure you are not dialating or anything. I hope everything goes well

At this point I am supposed to be dialating. I just hope its time, and not something that is going to be going on for days and days. I have my bags all packed, and I will put them in the car, just in case!

i don't know that I really WANT it to be time, but I am considered full term now, so he took me off my pre-term labor meds. I already made it longer than I did with The Boy. He was born at 36 1/2 weeks. I personally feel like I could stand to go another week or so, I'm not totally miserable yet, but My uterus may have different ideas...

PrairieMom replied: Well, I went in to the Dr for a cervix check, and it STILL isn't doing anything. after all those contractions. He says I look real tired. (Ya think?!) so he gave me a sleep aid and told me to take it easy tonight. This could go on for days. The contractions have slowed down a little, but I am deffinately still having them.
I guess i am supposed to wait for them to increase in intensity or for my water to break. I also have an appt to see him on friday. Boy, I really don't want for this to keep up until then!
Oh well. I just keep telling myself that this can't go on forever. At least they aren't painful!

Well, last night I took a hot bath, and a sleep aid the Dr gave me and went to bed early. I only got up TWICE to pee! it was wonderful! Baby is stil kicking, actully she has the hiccups this morning! I haven't felt a contraction yet, but I haven't really been moving around yet.
I guess we will see what the day brings!
