Well - It's here - and I'm not happy!

mom2my2cuties wrote: First off - I am going to MURDER my @)W(#*$)(*@#$)(@#)(*)(@# mother smile.gif I gave her all my freezer stuff - and she told me she got it - So I trusted her and didn't bother to check the deep freeze - Need I explain farther???? And on top of that someone put my Cuisine Art in the deep freeze so I am not sure what the deal is with that!

Second - I am missing a few things - Nothing super irreplaceable - but missing none the less.

Third - they absolutely destroyed my husband's desk - I bought him this beautiful cherry desk L-Shaped desk for christmas and it arrived absolutely destroyed. I was in tears as I saw it - and it was clear he was absolutely heart broken.

Fourth - There was something else that I was ticked off about - but after the desk I can't remember what it was smile.gif So I guess it wasn't that important.

I guess what gets me the most is that they just did everything they could to destroy our belongings. I would have NEVER imagined someone doing this to another person.

All I in all though - we have our stuff - smile.gif Which is an awesome thing.

OH! Now I remember the fourth thing - they threw all my husband's salsa's and things that he made before leaving dallas in a couple of boxes - and some of it was destroyed.

on a happier note - Andy thinks its christmas. smile.gif She loves having her toys back - and on the upside - it has been so long that she has forgotten about them and so she thinks they are all new.

luvmykids replied: growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif I'm sorry everything wasn't in the shape it should have been, can you file any kind of claim? At least Andy is happy biggrin.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Sorry sweetie....I know how it feels......The movers that brought our stuff here ruined half our stuff too.

mom2my2cuties replied: You know what is funny - I am more ticked off at my mom than the movers - I swear that deep freeze smelled like a body had been stored in it for 7 months.

smile.gif

ETA - I wish she would have just told me she didn't want the stuff in it - I would have donated it to a local charity or homeless shelter or given it to a friend...BUT NO!!!!!!!!!!! She had to let me think she took it and since she is mom and I trust her - I didn't double check.

CantWait replied: mad.gif mad.gif Sorry hug.gif

thumb.gif thumbs up, NOT for mom, what was she thinking. I can only imagine the stench. wacko.gif

MoonMama replied: Okay first I would be livid with the mover, do you have an kind of insurance from them for this kind of thing? I've never used movers so not sure how that works. blush.gif Also what was mom thinking? rolleyes.gif Sorry to hear about some of your stuff. sad.gif hug.gif

booey2 replied: Glad your stuff arrived, sorry that they were such imbiciles to do that to your things. And your mom, what was she thinking. hug.gif

Terri

mom2my2cuties replied: I think on the story with my mom - lets just say it was probably out of pure spite that she did that.

CantWait replied:
Pure spite eh!!!!! How's this for being spiteful. I'd take that meat and plop it right in front of her front door. rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif I can be the meanest little ______ sometimes.

C&K*s Mommie replied: Glad you have a good positive outlook on this. wink.gif

Sorry things were destroyed intentionally. mad.gif

mom2my2cuties replied: Nicole - it was funny you mentioned the positive outlook -

I was doing great until I realized just how much it was going to cost to replace the things that were broken and missing. We are looking at close to $10,000 in that stuff right now. When Andrew informed the company that did this that we will be suing thier sorry butts - thier response was "good luck"

mom2my2cuties replied:
hehehe - You know when I saw this I just had to add - I have an AWESOME husband - he cleaned EVERYTHING out of that deep freeze last night. And cleaned it so well you can't even smell it now.

But yeap - it should have went to my moms smile.gif But I am certainly not driving the 8 hours with that in the car wtih me to drop it at her door step.

CantWait replied:
What a man!!!! thumb.gif thumb.gif

8 hours hmmmm ya I don't think I could have hacked that either.

C&K*s Mommie replied: dry.gif hmmpph! They must have that happen lawsuits or threats thereof for them to say such a thing! mad.gif mad.gif
I hope that this is the last straw and you are succesful with the lawsuit, and it puts them out of business once and for all! dry.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied: Wow, aren't they liable for those things? I'd be super ticked!

holley79 replied: hug.gif I'm sorry that things were messed up.

ashtonsmama replied: Bummer.
growl.gif

mom2my2cuties replied: Thanks guys - I was thinking about it and then read one of Monica's posts - And something struck deep - I'm just not going to worry about it - It wont do me any good but stress me out smile.gif
