Well he's crawling! - sort of...

Schnoogly wrote: Iain can finally go forward! I wouldn't call it hands and knees crawling exactly...he is up on hands and knees, but he walks his hands forward then launches himself forward with his feet by pushing up on them. Then he falls on his tummy, gets up on hands and knees again, and repeats. It's really funny!

Babyproofing in high gear! I have the family room done at least. How often do you all have to vacuum?? There are all kinds of little pieces of stuff that seem to accumulate daily!

Kirstenmumof3 replied: wub.gif Awwww that is so cute! It won't be long now before he really gets the hang of things! wub.gif

Mommieto2Girls replied: Awweee, that's so cute. WTG Iain!!!! horray.gif horray.gif horray.gif

As for vacumming, I have to either every day or every other day. Then if she is walking around with crakers , it's a couple times a day. lol Have fun!!! biggrin.gif rolling_smile.gif

catou_98 replied: wub.gif aweee, that's cute, won't be long now and he'll really get it! and let me tell you, once they do get it they go pretty fast! rolling_smile.gif

ediep replied: WOW! He is getting so big!!! Jason did that for about 2 days...then he started motoring!!!

MomofTay&Sam replied: Awwww how sweet! I have to vaccum alot and alot. Atleast once a day, they find anything and everything! WTGrow Iain. wavey.gif

MommyToAshley replied: thumb.gif WTG Iain! I can just picture him doing that, he sounds sooo cute! wub.gif

As for vacuuming, plan on doing it all the time. Just like sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor once they start table food. laugh.gif

amynicole21 replied: Hooray for Iain!! thumb.gif We have all tile, so we are constantly sweeping and mopping. It's getting really old rolleyes.gif

DansMom replied: It won't be long now!!! Not only do you have to vacuum daily (or accept that he will eat some fluff and specks), but you will be scooping him up and moving him away from "don't touch" objects at other peoples' houses. Be especially careful at houses if they don't have kids or they have big kids! The other day Daniel picked up an open safety pin that was just laying on someone else's carpet ohmy.gif It was the tiny brown kind that blends in with the background. Fortunately I was eagle-eye mommy that day and snatched it right up and threw it away. It's still giving me nightmares!!! Also, his 5-year old cousin next door leaves little chokable action-figure toy parts all over the house. Thus begins the time when you can no longer just sit and talk when you go visiting. But it's so exciting isn't it!! It's fun to watch them grow. rolling_smile.gif

maliksmommy replied: WTG Ian, he'll be off before you know it. we probably should vacuum a lot more than we do. I always find Malik picking up Cheerios off the floor and eating them.

Kaitlin'smom replied: It will not be long now! It did not take long for Kaitlin to get the hang of it!

WTG thumb.gif

coasterqueen replied: horray.gif WTG Iain!!! horray.gif

It won't be long before he is crawling fast and everywhere!!!!

As far as vacuming, ugh! I should vacumn every other day at least, if not every day, but working full-time, I just don't get around too it as often. wacko.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied:
I would have to say the same on that! I need to do it more often but jus dont seem to get the time

Schnoogly replied: Ugh, my house is a mess even with me home all the time...I have no idea how I'll find time once I'm working!! Too bad I can't afford daycare AND a maid sad.gif

coasterqueen replied:
biggrin.gif I think my house would be far worse if I was home all day. You would think if one is working all day and noone is home except three cats that the house would stay fairly clean! I'm convinced the cats are having a party while we are gone. biggrin.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied:
I dont want to know what my cats do when I am not home!

hummm if only they could be trained to clean! HA! LOL that will never happen!
