Were Back - Finally.....

edited because i forgot to tell you how big our little baby is she weighed 8lbs 9ounces at birth and 8lbs 6ounces now....

I am sorry you had to have the emergency c-section, but it is the end result that really matters! She is an absolute doll baby! I am glad to hear you are feeling better. And, I think it is great that you are going to pump so that you can BF! Just FYI, pumping is harder than BF, so it will get easier once you can BF her.

We've all been wondering about you, I am soo glad you all are doing well! Thanks for the update and get some rest!

mckayleesmom replied: awww,,,she is so beautiful. I had to be put under too Jessy. I didn't see Mckaylee till about an hour after they took her out and I came too, but she was the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes. She was staring at me like..."hey mommy, wake up" and she had these huge rosie cheeks. I think I was meant to see her like that the first time. It was awsome...Congratulations...give your baby tons of kisses.

This first week home is the hardest---it's such an adjustment, especially when you have to pump and you've been through surgery. I got pretty blue and weepy in spells those first weeks home, as my hormones were all over the place and I physically felt so beat-up. If that happens just cuddle up with your little bundle and smell her baby smell---that really helped me anyway. And let us know when you feel sad and irritable or when you feel proud and happy---we've all BTDT and can relate to the whole spectrum of feelings you might have.

hope you recover quickly..i had to have a c-section too and was a little disappointed but one look at taven's little face and it didn't matter to me anymore!!! get lots of rest - let everyone help!!! and welcome to motherhood!!!! it's amazing!!
