We're home...pics to follow

Let me start by saying that Abbie and Tay are two very lovely ladies. Meeting them was definitely the highlight of the trip. Ethan adored Taylor. Watching her every move and staying on her heels the entire time...it was so cute. We were with another family so it was hard to talk and watch the kids at the same time. I got NO pictures of Abbie and I But I did get some of the kids with Tay. We didn't get the chance to meet up again...it was all so overwhelming and it went by so fast. But we will be back there soon and we will have more time to visit and relax.

We stayed 2 nights with some friends who have children Maddie and Ethan's age. We went to the waterpark and spent all day Thursday there. Friday we headed to San Antonio (just the family) The kids were exhausted and so whiney at this point so once we got to the hotel we swam for a bit, went to eat at a yummy mexican restaurant and back to the hotel to crash. Dinner was not really enjoyable...both kids acted awful. Saturday we went to Sea World. The kids had a blast. Maddie wanted to take Shamu home with her She settled for a (smaller) stuffed version. The dolphin feedings were my favorite part. The dolpins and the killer whales just really amaze me. Yes, it was my first time to go. I was worse than the kids. I've waited my whole life to go.

Sunday we made a beeline home, but not without stopping in Waco to get a frozen white chocolate at my favorite coffee shop across from Baylor.

It is good to be home. I'm so tired, though. It wasn't really a relaxing vacation.

Looks like you all had a really great trip! Does the Seaworld there have the Shark Restaurant? Where the walls are made of one huge gish tank with sharks swimming in them.

I can't believe how big maddie and Ethan are getting, especially Ethan, he is getting so big boyish looking...Maddie has looked like a little lady for awhile now!

I didn't see anything like that, but I think we missed quite a bit. I know we missed the sea lions. The kids wanted to swim and that was a big mistake I think. We just swam 2 days before and we had to lug all that stuff around. I would have rather stayed and watched all the shows...we were all so tired by that point anyway. I was grumpy (AF showed up that day ) and I just didn't really know what to expect. It was very neat, but probably not as great as Orlando or San Diego.

Thank you for your compliments. Ethan is looking like such a little man now. I can't believe it, either.
