What are you doing this weekend?

MomofTay&Sam replied: My oldest son was off today and we walked about 5 miles, Sammy stroller..Tay bike. It was just to hard the sun was beating down and I had Sam covered in his stroller but I refuse too use sunscreen. So out of the sun he is!!! To young for that crap on his body. So we will be in the shade. Tay has a LAX game on Sunday and it's suppose to be raining again. For those of you that dont know it's been raining in NY for weeks now. MIL wanted to take Sam to the park and I said NO he just cant handle the sun after 4 weeks of rain.

kit_kats_mom replied: napping, playing, cleaning, working. We have a lunch date with another couple who have a 2 yo and another on the way. that's about it.

We've had some of that rain here in Ohio too but not as much as you. But, don't think you can send it our way..hehe.

I don't like to put sunscreen on Ashley either, but she loves her walks and won't stay "inside" the stroller. She is too nosey..LOL. So, I wait until after 4PM and I do put sunscreen on her. I wash it off as soon as we get home. I just don't want her to get burnt!

MomofTay&Sam replied: LOL M2Ahley Sam is the same way! Bringing the cover all the way down just does not work anymore! I see a arm or leg hanging out. He has just never been in the sun, WE have had NO sun..LOL We walk and go to the park but it's been cloudy or on the verge of rain for weeks. I will use sunscreen now if summer has arrived but we have rain again tom.

supermom replied: We'll probably be working in the yard, I've also got some web-site work to catch up on - our own plus a few clients too that I need to get caught up on. It's so hard at work to get done during the day, but I try to leave that for when Anders is napping.

I also need to finish getting ready for that garage sale, so I can maybe finally get our car back into the garage - - hopefully it will be good to go for next weekend.

Schnoogly replied: Well as soon as dh gets back from his card game I'm working on the f****ing paper I have to present at a conference next month. I never get a chance to do any writing with Iain around/asleep on my chest. No rest for the wicked here.

Other than cooking everyone french toast for breakfast, and posting a bit here, I have done absolutely nothing all day for anyone or anybody......what a lazy, lazy day. I even took a nap with Anders, something I don't do all the time anymore. Well, I did play with Anders, but to me that's not doing something - but it is fun....teehee

Heather replied: Well since we really haven't seen the in a long time....and there aren't any plans of the rain stopping here...we are stuck in the house. I was hoping to get some work done outside..since we have only have a month til Alison's birthday party. So I am going to do some housework I guess...get some sewing done. I am making a dress for my cousin who is pregnant. And maybe make some diaper cakes to sell on ebay. Get some hobbies done I guess.

This weekend I'm just doing a ton of yardwork, did that today (sat.), got a bit of a tan. Also tomorrow (sun) I'm packing my hospital bag and might take ds to a movie or to a little waterpark.

Diaper Cakes are baby shower gifts. THey are made of Diapers and "decorated" with small gifts that are very useful to expecting mommies/daddies. Here is a pic of the one I made for my cousin...I have made a few and they have been huge hits...so I have started to make a few to sell on ebay. Just a little side hobby I have going on

I ended up not sleeping at all this weekend at night...Sunday I slept from 9am till 3:30 in the afternoon. My poor son was on the couch the whole time watching t.v and had no lunch.
For the first time in about a week and a half, last night I got a little wee bit of sleep......
I can't wait to get this wee ball out of me tummy. 5 more weeks.

ediep replied: my mom cameand babysat for us saturday night and sunday night!!!! WOOHOO!!!
We went to dinner Saturday and to the movies on Sunday!!!

And I ended up doing nothing all weekend (see the What color are your pants post!) - teehee - I could NOT get motivated to do anything at all, so that was exactly what I did - well, I guess if you call watching a 3 YO nothing (no, actually DH helped - lol)
