What are you getting the other for V-day?

devinsmommy wrote: I am at a stump... Hubby has everything and needs nothing. So what do you get him? Heck I done gave him a son..that should be good enough...lol

What are you going to get your lover or other for V-day?

kim62377 replied: I can definitely empathize with you on that one! Our precious men are just so hard to buy for - boy they sure do have it easy! Flowers, jewelry, cards and candy!! Us ladies are so easy to please! What I would suggest is very simple but loving as well. What I usually try to do for my DH is find a really great card (he loves them - so romantic he is wub.gif ) and plan a really special dinner - steaks - just something he REALLY enjoys. Light the candles - give him a wonderful massage and babydance with him all evening! tongue.gif As far as a gift goes though that sure is a toughie! I usually end up in the electronics department of Wal - Mart. It seems this always works as a last resort. Maybe just try to think of something he needs that you may have missed. For example for my hubbys B-day I was really lost on what to buy, so I just strolled up and down the aisles for a while. I finally settled on a barbeque grill cover (which he was totally ecstatic over) beings my sweet bassett hound chewed his original one all to pieces. I also got him a nice leather wallet and a DVD. He was so happy. And of course the choclate cake! biggrin.gif Maybe you could get him a powertool or something - most guys like stuff like that. Just depends on what he does - fishing, hunting anything like that? Hope I helped a little bit - I'm sure you'll figure out something perfect! thumb.gif

loveydad replied: I have flowers comin' to her and i'll take her out to dinner.

As a guy - I don't care. I really don't need/want anything form her but her love blush.gif

Candy's alweays good though!

~Roo'sMama~ replied: My dh doesn't *believe* in valentine's day - he thinks it's just a stupid excuse for men to have to get something. tongue.gif So I'm sure I'm getting nothing, which is fine (although flowers would be a nice gesture) and since it was just his birthday, and our anniversary is on tuesday I don't think he needs any more presents! cool.gif tongue.gif

paradisemommy replied: we don't celebrate v-day. our anniversary is on the 4th and we usually go out to dinner which is all i need. i HATE getting flowers cause i know how much they hike up the prices so i always tell him, if ya wanna do something nice then bring me ONE rose!! wink.gif and he'll usually get me a small box of godiva chocolates..smile.gif but when we want something we go out and buy it so we have everything we need!!

Boys r us replied: Well, I have come up with a GREAT idea, if I do say so myself wink.gif

I'm sending DH a basket to work. In the basket, there will be things he likes(chocolates, mints, things like that and also a champange bottle(an empty one) and inside the bottle, I'm going to put a sexy nightie that I'm going to buy from Victoria's Secret! Somehow I have to figure out how to attatch the straps to the cork so that when he pulls the cork out it will pull the nightie out! and he can sit in his office and think about THAT all day!!!!!!!! wub.gif

MomToMany replied: thumb.gif That sounds great Nichole!! Rick will most certainly love it, LOL!!

Don't know what I'm getting Shane yet. He gotten plenty lately, LOL!

5littleladies replied: Well since he probably isn't going to get me anything I'm not planning on getting him anything. My hubby is like Sara's-He doesn't "believe" in V-Day. tongue.gif I don't really care about it either though so it doesn't bother me. wink.gif

I wouldn't be surprised if he gets me some flowers or something in honor of our baby though-Feb 14th would have been my due date.

TANNER'S MOM replied: I went to Wal Mart this weekend and they had Velvet Handcuff, Yes at Wally World..$2.00 so I got him a pair..and some chocolates, and some body chocolate too.. I think he will be please!

A&A'smommy replied: I am not sure what I'm getting dh yet. I doubt I will get anything this year but I'm going to get him something anyway and he is NOT going to find out about it until v.day! I'm probably going to get him a dvd and something else I don't know yet and I wont get it until next weekend. thumb.gif

redchief replied: I'm getting Lisa.... ME!

I'm not usually home for Valentine's Day but this year I will be.

jolene555 replied: i really have no idea. we've been broke for a while now, and this actually was good for me, because i'm good at *making* my gifts. barry sucks at it - i normally end up with a $1 card from the gas station - so this time i've been pushing the subject. you know, so he actually puts some thought into a gift for once. well he just did some work and made a decent amount, and i handle all the money so he told me to write him a check for $100. i asked him what for and he said "oh, nothing" - he's a slick one he is.

so i need to figure out something good if he's gonna go for $100 on me. i was plannign on getting some blindfolds and some bondage type stuff (not real riske, but to tie each other up), but now i just don't know.

Kaitlin'smom replied: We decided that we would just do cards this year. Since his b-day is the day before and he decided he wanted a party so thats what he is getting. As for me I would just like the card and a nice evening with DH and NO computer

moped replied: We don't do VD, but I get him a nice card and he always gets up early and makes me my favorite pancakes in the shape of hearts.....................it's nice!
