What did you crave?

Mommieto2Girls replied: I craved all sweets!!! Everyday I had to have either chocolate or ice cream. I was working my whole pregnancy and my brother-in-law which also worked at the same place (along with DH) would always make brownies, rice crispy treats or cakes just to keep me happy. The one boss always bought chocolate bars also. I lived on ice cream.
MommyToAshley replied: I didn't vote because the few times I did crave something, it was different.
I craved salads all the time I craved chocolate ice cream quite a few times I craved cheetos on occasion -- but bad enough that I about bit DH's head of because I thought he ate them all! LOL
MomofTay&Sam replied: I picked spicy because I could eat Mexican everynight! Worked for my preggo system to. LOL
I hate hate hate sweets but when I was preggo I would EAT it all. If DH brought home Klondike bars I would eat one after the other, if he brought home ice cream I would sit in bed at 9 am and eat the whole gallon! While watching Regis ofcourse! hehe I was so out of control.
maestra replied: Italian salad dressing, and also dill pickles, but would have loved them with ice cream! Never got the guts to try it though!

MomToJade&Jordan replied: It was all sweet with Jade.
MomToMany replied: I can't remember anything specific that I craved with the boys, but I do remember eating a lot of sweets! With Hannah, it was salads and eggs. Now I had a craving for broccoli! I almost ate a whole head of it myself the other night !
amynicole21 replied: Lots of sweets, but I can't say I don't crave them anyway. I lived on ice cream and lots of fresh fruit! Thank goodness I was pregnant when all of my favorite fruits were in season
Kirstenmumof3 replied: When I was pregnant with Claudia I craved chocolate like crazy! But I steered clear of it and only allowed myself to have it occasionally! THANK GOD! I also craved water and ice cubes! I found out later that means you have low iron!
ediep replied: I voted salty, but I actally craved pizza
victoire2002 replied: I craved meat, meat and more meat!!! I was a complete carnivore and wanted to have steak or burgers every single day. Oh, and the first few weeks (before I knew I was pg) I was DRINKING Dill Pickle juice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Straight from the jar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YUCK.
3xsthefun replied: When I was pregnant with Kaitlynn
I craved sweets and salty stuff I ate alot of Icecream, Salt&Vinegar Chips and any other chips, animal crackers and I think that is it.
I couldn't stand hamburgers at all when I was pregnant with her always had to have something different. Like a chicken sandwich from McDonald's or something.
With this baby- I love IceCream again, I'm eating alot more meats, sometimes I like chips, cheese puffs, and some sweets.
Sooo..maybe this means I'm going to have a boy this time since I can eat hamburgers just fine
chloe&tysmommy replied: I craved a lot of salty foods.....especially salt & vinegar chips!
Schnoogly replied: Sugar sugar sugar!!! Lots of gooey baked goods, carbs, like sweet rolls. Also fruit! I would go grocery shopping and come home with bags full of fruit and nothing else! (it was summer, so fruit in season!)
Occasionally meat, but mostly sugar!
dolfinrse replied: I craved milk. I would drink a gallon of milk by myself in 2 days.

CantWait replied: It's funny, cause now that I'm not pregnant is when I'm craving things the most. I absolutely can't get enough Peanut Butter or milk right now.
Heather replied: I never really had a craving for anything...
I just read the last one LOL...I have a friend who's cousin craved Sand and ate it almost everyday. I have never heard of it til then...
supermom replied: There is actually a disease associated with craving non-foods - it's called Pica - and it can be brought on by being pg.
I craved salads at first, but now I am really not craving anything this time. With Anders it was chocolate.
CMD3989 replied: I know this is weird but I craved cheese. I used to eat pickles everyday then I started hating them. weird.
*Christina Marie*
A&A'smommy replied: i craved chocolate, which is weird because i didnt really like chocolate before i was pg...i guess thats normal LOL
oh and i also hated pickels when i got pg and i LOVED them before!!
pinka_star replied: I craved sugar and spicey food. I used to make 5 slices of french toast and pile on the syrup. I also loved taco bell, I would pour on SO much hot sauce. I'm not much for spicey food either.
jen replied: I craved so many things! At first I craved salty food........I couldn't get enough salt! I would probably have just eaten table salt. Then it was spicy food and pickles! I could not get enough of jalapeno pickles which I would eat in the morning with my decaf coffee! ha ha! That was gross in hindsight!
Then it was and has been SUGARY food which is totally not like me! I am hypoglycemic and not SUPPOSED to have a lot of sugar in my diet but being pregnant has really made me tolerant anything and if an occassionally icecream or candy bar is calling for me I have no will power to stop! I love donuts too every saturday morning DH goes and gets donuts and every sunday morning I make pancakes!!!
Fortunately I still crave oatmeal and other plain bland foods which I think is why I haven't gained 100 lbs!
AndriNPetersdada replied: That last one is a really weird condition. My mothjer had it all the time she was pregnant with me. It's aweful.
GavinsMommy replied: I crave smells...it's a form of PICA...

mama3x replied: With DS I craved and was only able to tolerate throughout cherry vanilla ice cream and coca-cola (not together). Oh and vanilla ice cream with bananas and caramel sauce.
With DD, I craved meat (especially beef), cheese, potato-type things, and was totally turned off by coke.
With this one, I crave bananas, fruit, ice cream, milk, root beer, and once in awhile potato chips. No coke or coffee again, can't stand the taste.
Littlejojames replied: Think im turning into a crazed spice loonatic.....

brikr replied: I crave taco bell too!!! OMG!!@
And cookies, and bizarre things like a hotdog, or chicken stir fry with the chicken pieces cut up really tiny, my big thing though has been anything citrus: orange juice, oranges, grape fruit, any kind of juice really... I don't even like orange juice or oranges normally.... weird!
toddzgurl replied: I have had some wierd cravings too I crave the smell of gasoline is that ok?
