Are you a sahm, wahm, wohm..if you work outside of the home, what do you do for a living?
Boys r us replied: I work outside the home, I'm a financial advisor for a bank and my DH is a Network Administrator.
jen replied: I am a technical writer for an architectural and engineering consulting firm in Houston. I also train horses and give riding lessons but I haven't done that since August last year. I think I might work extremely part time after my baby is born on an as needed basis. My husband wants me and Maddy to come and work with him. He is a Farrier/Horse Shoer and travels all over to Show Stables etc where I could pick up some extra work here and there! We have a lot of fun together and he is really looking forward to it and so am I!!
Boys r us replied: Jen, that sounds like a lot of fun!!!!!!
booey2 replied: I work out of the home, in a party rental company, and do many things, spend all my day on the computer inputting orders for 6 salespeople, all the office admin. stuff that my boss needs done, fix and solve and puter issues that anyone here has.
My dream job would be to be a fulltime mom only but I don't think that dream is going to come true anytime soon.
pinka_star replied: I'm a stay at home Mommy, but I would like to work from home. Maybe watch some kids during the day. It would be good for Emma to have some friends to play with, and it would bring some extra money in the house. Just have to find some Mom's that need someone to watch their kiddies during the day. *crosses fingers*
My2Carebears replied: i work full time
kit_kats_mom replied: I WAH processing students in Missouri school districts to determine medicaid eligibility so the districts can get funding from the state. Really boring but I make good money. Katherine is at an in home daycare 3 days a week and I try to get most of my work done then. I am often found working into the wee hours of the morning and on the weekends though in order to meet deadlines. On Monday's and Fridays however, I am a SAHM. Those are my favorite days!

MylittlePaige replied: I work full time out of home as a Production Manager for an IT Publication. I actually went to school for Graphic Design so this is a step in the right direction for me but not quite what I want to do. Hopefully one day I can get into our Art Department *crossing fingers* Paige goes to day care 2 days a week, my MIL has her 2 days and one day a week DH, Rob, has off so they have a fun bonding day together. Ideally one day I would love to work part time doing design work and being a SAHM the other days. Here is to hoping!! Alli and Paige

coasterqueen replied: I WOH as a business manager for a non-profit insurance association. I do everything from human resources, website maintenance, political action committee work, legislative reports, meeting planning, answering phones, running the office, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. I have a different hat on every second
Our office consists of an executive director and me (business manager). And then we have a consumer hotline in our office that is run by one person.
Needless to say I am always so busy, but always soooo behind because I'm always on the boards, lol.
I would LOVE to be a SAHM, but in order to do that we would have to sell our land that has meant so much to DH and we spent so many years fighting family in and out of courts to get.
I also just signed on to be a Homestyle Specialist selling AtHome America products. So I guess you can say I have two jobs now
My dd goes to an at-home sitter during the day. The lady who watches her, her DH works with my DH, so that's nice at least.
momma2jenna replied: I'm a SAHM with a beautiful daughter who will be one on the 25th. I have been a dental hygienist for the past 13 years. I don't work, but keep my liscence up for the future?! (which I don't even want to think about THAT kind of work, uuggg!)

juliajaj replied: I'm a documentation writer (develop documentation for software, web site development, develop marketing material regarding computer systems/applications). I work full-time, 4 1/2 days a week, but I'm fortunate enough to work from home 4 days & am in the corporate office 1/2 day per week. DH & I work for the same company. While I'm working, DD is at an in-home daycare agency that she & we love. We're expecting our 2nd child on 7/9, so I'll be taking a 12-week family leave from work.

megsmommie replied: I work out of the home. I was working 40 hours a week, but at the begining of February, the owners cut my hours to 12 a week!!!! So, let me tell you, right now we are struggling. I am looking for other work, but nothing so far! Btw, I work at a collectibles gift shop.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I am a SAHM. My DH is in the Air Force and at this time I really don't have to work. I am thinking about taking on some kids or possibly starting music classes out of my home. I want to be home for this time in Jade's life.
