I like Navy for a bridesmaid color. Have you thought about style of dresses?? I'm sure you're going to pick out something nice, not something they groan about right?

punkeemunkee'smom replied: I don't know about navy and yellow and ivory...They aren't really harmonizing colors. Ivory and navy would be very pretty (I like the colors on the dress that Nadia posted) I don't think that yellow would look very good with them tho

luvmykids replied: I guess I'm in the minority, I like navy and yellow together, I think navy is actually pretty neutral and I love it with other pastels like pink or light blue. I think the trick is getting the right intensity of the other color. Do you mean a pale butter yellow, or brighter daffodill yellow?

Ok, back to the point. I think Navy is a FINE color for a wedding...as for yellow, I agree, what shade were you thinking?? I too think Navy is a fairly neutral color. I think a light yellow wouldn't look to bad.

Those were my high schools colors too But I have a friend whose bathroom is navy and yellow and it's beautiful, which sounds like a funny thing to picture for talking about a wedding, but it's the point of reference that comes to mind

I think maybe a pale baby blue-ish color with pale yellow would be pretty, but I think throwing a 3rd color in there would confuse things.
