What do you usually do on the weekends?

we're not in school yet but the elem. school he will be going to is year round and i was kinda bummed. i loved having summers off and looking forward to those months..kinda yuck to go year round (i think)

coasterqueen replied: Well we usually do errands and mow the yard. That is pretty consistent every weekend unfortunately, lol. If I don't clean the house on my 1/2 day off on Friday then I'll clean the house too and of course laundry is 24/7,lol.

Other than that since we are working on our basement we just hang out at home because DH and/or I are always working on that when Kylie is sleeping.

Lollie replied: We also just hang out on weekends.My family and my in-laws usually get together for a while just to chat and have lunch or something!

Hubby and I also love going out on the days when its warm.We take Bri to the park or the mall or something like that.In the evenings hubby,Bri and I snuggle under the blankets and watch movies..if Bri allows us to.

momof2girls replied: We TRY to hang out at home as much as possible on Sundays...
it seems like on Sat we always have a bday party to go to or something to do!
and laundry laundry laundry! blah!!! I wish I could afford a maid!!

The week goes by slow and the weekends go by soo fast, not fair!

MommyToAshley replied: Depends on the weekend... some are busy with lots of stuff to do, and sometimes we just hang out. I love the hang out weekends. We've been going to the lake and bike rides a lot lately though.

mummy2girls replied: I usually bring jenna to her dad one day out of the weekend. i usually clean the house every saturday because it gets really nasty in a week from jenna throwingd and toys everywhere..LOL.

I also run errands if need be. and i also bring jenna to see my dad and mom. my dad works from sund to friday so the only day he can see her is on sat... he is really close to jenna.

A&A'smommy replied: well Jeremiah works on fridays and sundays so usually wednesday and saturday is our weekend we just do whatever needs to be done or hang out and rest.

DixieDarlin replied: Usually clean, do laundry, and grocery shop. I'm sick so I haven't cleaned (DH has straightened up the living room and kitchen, though). Today I HAVE to go buy groceries if we plan on eating next week Plus, I have to get the kids school supplies. So I'm going to drag my sick self out of the house and get that done.

dolfinrse replied: Usually we do all our errands on Saturday and then Sunday we go food shopping for the week, hang out at home, and then go to mil's for dinner.

Josie83 replied: My boyfriend and I are both in school a lot of the week, so at weekends we try and spend timte together and with Cassie . . . although sometimes he has to work. My sister Maria comes over a lot at the weekend, she and Cassie love each other! We sometimes travel to see Jason's parents as well, or just do whatever! Never anything really exciting! lsjulee replied: We'll like to stay home as much as possible too. I'd whip up a meal or two, cos weekends are the only days I could do some cooking.

Usually Saturdays, I'd bring the kids out shopping or wandering around with my mummy. On Sundays, we'll stay home and then hop over to the pool. The kids just love to swim around.

jcc64 replied: We run around like idiots on the w/e's. Baseball, groceries, errands, playdates, laundry, more baseball, and oh did I mention baseball? Our w/e's are so crazy I can't wait for Mon so I can go back to work and have some peace. Is that sick or what?
