What does your toddler take to bed with them?
MommyToAshley wrote: Ashley has to have about 3-4 dolls/animals. It doesn't have to be the same ones, but it usually consists a combination of:
Froggy (what she calls her BabyTad) Baby Amen (what she calls her Precious Moments prayer doll) Baby Bottle (what she calls her doll that has a bottle with it) Clifford Baby Elmo Or Baby (one of her dolls that she just calls baby)
She has to cover them all up and say night night to them before she will go to sleep. During the day for naptime, I will check on her after she falls asleep, and she is almost always laying on one of them ... so I have to move it. LOL!
DansMom replied: She's so cute!!
Daniel doesn't want anything when I'm there, but we still cosleep---I know that when DH puts him down for a nap, he wants the nursing pillow near him and a soft puppet we have that reverses---a friendly guy in a stocking cap, either morning theme (sun and clouds) or night theme (stars and moons). The puppet's body is just a sleeve of T-shirt material. I think he prefers this doll (we call him Mr. Good Morning/Mr. Good Night---so creative LOL) because he likes to hold part of my T-shirt in his fist and stroke it along his cheek while he's nursing. For a while he was into his Bob the Builder doll too, but he's not as soft and comforting.
jem0622 replied: Well, Gabe only needs two things:
(1) His 'mimi' (binky/pacifier) (2) Eeyore
He does have a dog and his Baby Tad in there...but doesn't really cuddle with them. He also has a lion (as big as he is) and a pony that he loves to snuggle with while he watches his show before bed. He has to have one of these (either Eeyore or the pony, usually) with him when he is in the car too.
My 4.5 yr old was not like this at all! Too cute!
MomToMany replied: Awww, Ashley is so cute!!
Hannah needs her pink blankey and her yummies to go to bed .
amynicole21 replied: Sophia needs her binky and ... well... Me!
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Jade has to have like 5 little toys soved under her. LOL!!!
Ducky (which is actually a beanie duck) Bear (This was a beanie that she gave to her father on Father's day last year, but now she sleeps with it.) Bear #2 (A litte classic Winnie the pooh.) Blue (A little magnatized Blue's clue's doll) Lobster (Yes this is a little stuffed lobster. Don't ask LOL!!!!)
Then there are two Care Bears that kind of hang out at the foot of her bed. She also has an Angel Bear, which was given to us while I was in labor, one of those Ty beanie teens and a bunny that says a prayer when you squeeze him.
5littleladies replied: Brianna has to have a cup and every single doll that is in sight. I have to pile them up at the end of her bed so she won't get smothered.
ediep replied: Jason must have his blankey. I also put a few stuffed toys...elmo, big bird, and a duck that rattles, and some little board books for him to look at when he wakes up in the morning. It gives me a few extra minutes of sleep! He has two crib toys that attach to the bars of the crib....the aquarium and a sparkling symphony mirror. He really likes them a lot!
alice&arik replied: Arik has to have:
Scooby....(kind of big) on the right side Mo.....it's a donkey from the car dealership, same size as Scooby, on the left side a sipper big doggie....little black dog that is really soft sometimes his baby...it's a cabbage patch look a like that is a boy
The big ones have to stay on either side of him, so he can see them good and they kind of stay in the crack of the bed. It alternates sometimes though sometimes he wants his baby and not the dog. One night he asked for every single stuffed animal he had. I think he read to much about Ashley's stallers. He is cute with his baby though, it has a bottle attached to it's hand and he "feeds" the baby, but sometimes get a littel rough because he tries to get the bottle to stay in it's mouth .
lsjulee replied: Ivan Rabbit (stuffed toy) is a must for An. And of course, me too. He won't sleep without me in the room.
aspenblue1 replied: Isabella has her blankey and her baby tiger and elephant to go to sleep.
paradisemommy replied: just me!!
Kaitlin'smom replied: well Kaitlin has a few things that must be int he right place before she will got night night
she had 3 loony toon character pillows each one has it own corner (and it must be facing the right way)
a doggie (nicked named little duke) her blankie a small stuffed doggie daddy won out of one of thoes claw machines and her new prayer angle (wich ironicly matches her blankie)
mummy2girls replied: Jenna needs only her pooh blankey with her! I hear screaming if i forget! LOL
coasterqueen replied: Hehehe! This is all Kylie wants too. She wants her binky and me Well, my (o)(o)'s too.
There for a while she wanted her elmo blanket, elmo and her turtle, but she freaks out if she sees them in her bed now so we have to hide them in the closet.
chloe&tysmommy replied: Chloe absolutely HAS to have her blankey and her souce (soother)....I dread having to wean her off of that!!!!
Jamison'smama replied: Well, me for one, her paci and lately she has become quite attached to Big Bird--thank goodness that's it--we would run out of room in the bed
Sherry replied: She has a full bed!!!
Jessie takes her blankie and her cuppie. She alternates other favorite stuffed animals.
Josie83 replied: Hi, my two and a half year old daughter+ only ever sleeps in our bed if she wakes up scared or upset, which I'm glad about! She's quite good about going to sleep, but she always has her Dodo (this disgusting security blanket she's had since she was born) and Laura (her equally disgusting teddy that used to be mine that we gave her when she was born!). She also insists on only sleeping in something of mine, usually old T-shirts! Love Josie xx
jingraham2121 replied: My daughter Drew WILL NOT go to bed without her blankie and pillow that my great aunt made her. I fear the day that anything ever happens to those!!! She also always has to have her sippy cup of water. The water she could go without, but NEVER without "Bankie and pow".

raysnroof replied: Take care about putting a baby to bed with a bottle, friends. Baby Bottle Tooth Rot is an actual condition that comes from putting a child to bed with a bottle. The last mouthful is never swallowed. It just stays in the bcak of the child's mouth until he wakes up. The result can be that even the teeth that are not showing yet rot inside the child's mouth. It is disgusting looking and must be so painful. Anyway, Matthew goes to bed with his Binki and a floppy stuffed puppy we called "Huggy Pup."
