What does your toddler think you do all day?

I said "Katherine, what does mommy do after you go to Miss Candice's?"
K: "you go to the gym"
Me: "yep, that's right. I go to the gym to exercise. Then what do I do for work...for my job?"
K: "you go to the circus"

What the heck does she think I do for a living? LOL I WISH I went to the circus every day.

I dunno what Kait would say, but ever since DH brought her to the theatre when I was working she wants to come to work with mommy, so I guess if I were to ask her she would think I worked at the theatre all the time

We had a press conference on our new "Kids Deserve Justice" license tag and had all the kids blowing bubbles...so now that's my "work."

Well some jobs can be considered a circus at times. I know my Mom has called the eye docter that on occasion.

lisar replied: I tell my 4yro that I have to go to work. And she doesnt ask what I do. She wants to know why I have to work. I tell her to pay for the house and to buy her food and buy her toys. She told me she didnt want all of that. That she would rather me be home with her. She is so sweet. If she only understood.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Well, Maddie is old enough now where she will ask me when she gets out of school "What did you and Tater do today?" That gets rather annoying. She also asks EVERY night "What are we gonna do tomorrow?"

Kylie thinks I work in our state capitol because some of my golf shirts have the state capitol building on it. If I wear one of those shirts (the shirts our work gives out at golf outings) she'll point to it and tell me that's where I work. Although she goes to my office all the time and knows it's across the street from the state capitol not in it.
