What is your DH/DW/DF/SO morning routine?

My2Beauties wrote: I guess the past few weeks have inspired this post. It never fails, like clockwork, drives me crazy sometimes too, this is Brian's morning routine. Mind you we live in a small house and the bathroom is right between ours and Hanna's room, there are two doors to the bathroom, one from her room, one from our room! I hate shotgun houses

1.) alarm goes off at 6 am
2.) He wakes up, hits snooze (9 minutes extra sleep)
3.) Alarm goes off again
4.) He sits up, looks around, pulls himself up and goes to the restroom
5.) Pees and doesn't shut the door, the proceeds to fart while he is peeing every single morning
6.) Then he blows his nose VERY LOUD
7.) Comes back in the bedroom (still farting every few minutes BTW) and digs through his drawers for his workclothes
8.) Changes into his clothes
9.) Sits on the end of the bed and puts on his workboots, meanwhile shaking the bed everytime he moves
10.) Walks in the kitchen with his loud boots, gets a drink from the fridge
11.) Comes in and kisses me on the cheek or forehead (very sweet) and says I love you
12.) Walks out and you can hear the door very loudly
13.) Starts his loud car
14.) And 75% of the time, Hanna is awake by then

I was just wondering, not complaining or anything but he does the same thing every morning I mean it never ever fails. The peeing and farting thing drive me crazy though

1. alarm goes off at 7 he hits the alarm clock and repeats three times
2. slowly gets out of bed and goes to bathroom
3. Showers
4. trys to quietly find his belt, wallet and/or keys let me say LOUD
5. waves goodbye
6. slams door

ediep replied: MY DH hits snooze for what seems like hours....when he finally gets up he goes to the bathroom, then goes downstairs to get some coffee, comes back upstairs to shower, get dressed, have breakfast (or grab something quickly) come back up to brush his teeth and kiss me goodbye.

Jason wakes up sometimes..it depends on what time DH's routine starts each day. he works in different offices so his commute time varies

coasterqueen replied: Well my DH's routine seems to be only for himself. His alarm goes off at 6 am. He hits snooze til 6:30 am. He then makes his coffee, takes a shower, shave, gets dressed, kisses me goodbye and he's out the door. Some days I make him help me out with things here and there for about 5 to 10 minutes making him late for work, but I'm always telling him if he'd get up just a bit earlier to help me out then I wouldn't make him late. Course then I'm expected to get myself and two kids up and ready (and soon out the door to daycare/work) by myself.

TANNER'S MOM replied: My dh routine depends on whether he has to work or not..

But if it is work day it is very simple but eary..

Get up at 4..
Never hit snooze..

Shower..dress..with every lite on...

Go outside ..feed the calves..

Come back in with poop on feet and wake me up for the day and give me a kiss.

Slam door to make sure I am awake!

It might be 4:35 at this time.

I often wonder how he can do so much in so little time?
When I need him to do something it take forever!

Josie83 replied: We don't have a routine at all! Every day is different depending upon whether or not I have school, he has school and Cassie has school! Say we were all at school it would probably go like this:

Cassie wakes us up at about six thirty or seven, our alarms are set for about seven in case she doesn't. She comes into our bedroom and wakes us both up He has a shower first while I get Cassie ready and make breakfast (or vice versa), then I'll have a shower while he gives Cassie her breakfast and sorts her out for school (or the other way round).

We usually play with Cassie for a bit and get out stuff together for school and hers for school, then he'll drop me off at school, Cassie off at school and then drive to his own school

The only thing he always does without fail is kiss me on the lips as soon as he wakes up And he kisses Cassie as soon as he sees her too He's quite considerate if he has to be up before me but it doesn't realy make a difference because Cassie will be in our bedroom anyway, but he'l usually take her away and play with her and get her ready while I'm geting up He doesn't nag about on a morning, he saves that for after nights out!

mel I can't believe the time that Randy gets up and all the stuff that he does so early either! xx

1-wake myself up... no alarm needed..
2-rubs eye, streaches, lets a few "wind whippers" go if needed...
3-recieves many kisses from wife and son... with out fail...
4-hits bathroom for the 3 S's... shave, shower, sh
5-gets dressed, pulls up underware so it looks like i have a thong on... gets the wife all excited... (excited for me to leave) har har -
6-kiss the family, take the lunch and go get my huge cup of coffee...

5littleladies replied: I honestly have no idea what Jason's morning routine is. I never wake to his alarm (although I do wake up to every little wimper or sneeze coming from the girl's bedrooms-go figure ). All I know is he gets up at maybe 6:30 and has to be out the door by 6:45. Somewhere in there he makes himself coffee and eats breakfast and does whatever else it is that he does in the morning.

Kaitlin'smom replied: lets see he gets up sometime between 7-7:30 depends on when his alarm (ME ) gets him up, checks e-mail, takes shower, gets dressed, hunts for anything that got out of place (keys, phone, wallet, badge) hugs and kisses Kait and I and off to work hopefully by 8a.

Showers and that stuff
Then kisses me and says he loves me when he leaves

If he is coming home from the E.M.T. job at 6:15am
he walks in flops on the bed undresses and goes to bed and I wake him at 8:25 while I'm on my way to my job to get up to go to the next job.

Now when he is off his shift work job I just wake him up at 8:25 when I leave to go to work for his plumbing and heating business.

I think I have that all stright lol

Boys r us replied: 1) he sleeps while I shower and do my hair and makeup

2) I cut the shower on so the water will be hot for him when he gets in and lay his clean boxers and tshirt out on the bathroom counter

3) I wake him up while I'm hopping around on one leg putting my pants on

4) I wake him up again

5) I wake him up again

6) I climb on top of him and kiss all over him to wake him up

7) I then turn to threatening tactics and tell him all of the hot water is going to be gone if he doesn't GET UP!

8) he gets up and slowly goes to the bathroom

9) I leave

10) he gets the kids up and ready

1. gets up at 7:40
2. gets oldest dd up for school
3. smokes ciggy
4. cat naps till time for oldest dd to leave
5 .hits bathroom for the 3 S's... shave, shower, sh**
6. comes back to the bedroom for boxers and socks, leaving WET foot prints everywhere.
7. gets dressed
8. grabs cigs, wallet and cell phone
9. gets a pop and breakfast out
10. kisses me bye and rubbs my belly.


All this while "attempting" to be quiet so he dosent wake the "drama queen" so I can get some more sleep.

uwishucudfly replied: he is still asleep usually by the time I leave for work ::jealous smirk::, but one day I stayed home sick from school, and this was his routine....

1) 8:30am the beast rises...not a pretty picture....he's a scratcher
2) goes into bathroom for a shower, shave, and whatever kind of manly cleanliness activities extend from that
3) he stretches
4) puts on underwear
5) puts on jeans
6) goes downstairs to make breakfast for himself and the kids
7) gathers the kids and puts them in clothing
8) they eat breakfast
9) they decide what they will do that day

he walks around the house with no shirt and no socks on because....like I said....he's a beast.
