What is your Favourate Christmas Movie?

Kirstenmumof3 wrote: thumb.gif I have a few that I love to watch this time of year. Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Miracle on 34th Street, The Ugly Ducklings Christmas Wish and of course a Charlie Brown Christmas. But my absolute favourate is Jingle all the Way. I love this movie! We have purchased 2 copies of this movie since we bought our house (6 years ago). Both used, I've tried to buy new but they don't make this movie anymore. The first one just died on us and now the second copy is missing. I have no idea who I would have lent it too or what would have happened to it. I hope I find it, I really want to watch it! laugh.gif

amynicole21 replied: Mine has to be the Grinch (the original cartoon!) Love that movie. I also like a movie I haven't seen since I was a child called the Best Christmas Pagent Ever. blush.gif

favre4fan replied: I looove A Christmas Story!! You'll shoot your eye out..... ha and when he gets his tongue stuck on the light pole toooo funny!~

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Mine and Scotty's favorite Christmas Movie is "It's a Wonderful Life." We love that movie!! biggrin.gif

Of course, I love all Christmas movies! From Charlie Brown to Christmas Vacation, the Grinch, Scrooged, etc. thumb.gif

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Probably my fav of all time is Emmit Otters Jogband Christmas. That used to come on HBO every Christmas when I was a kid. It dissappeared after a while, but my Mom found it on VHS when all three of us were adults. It's funny because we will all still watch it when we are all at home. It just makes it Christmas for us.

Of course my fav adult movie is A Christmas Story. I do find myself watching that over and over again on Christmas Eve when they show it for 24 hours on TNT. rolling_smile.gif

DansMom replied: A Christmas Story and Rudolph. I make time to see those.

5littleladies replied: How on earth do I pick one favorite?? blink.gif It's probably a toss-up between A Christmas Movie and It's a wonderful life. I love those movies!

We are already making out a list of all the christmas movies we want to watch this year. It gets longer every year! We will be watching movies every night of December at this rate. wacko.gif happy.gif

jolene555 replied: It's A Wonderful Life. Makes me cry every time. I feel I must comment on Emmit Otter's Jugband Christmas: My BIL insists on watching this movie every season and I am convinced it must be a tradition type of movie, because I am yet to find the entertainment value of it. I am not trying to offend anyone, but sweet moses it was boring.

MomofJandB replied: I love the movie White Christmas with Bing Crosby. I also love the Year without a Santa Claus.

Sunflower04 replied: I love them all... but it I could only watch one it would be A christmas Story. rolleyes.gif

coasterqueen replied: I have on DVD: The Grinch (original), Rudolph, The Year without Santa Clause, Frosty, and the Charlie Brown Christmas.

I also like Scrooge (the cartoon with the donald duck), A White Christmas, Miracle on 34th Street (the original) and well..probably all of them.

I am such a sucker for Christmas shows..especially kid ones. tongue.gif

ctymom replied: All the shows I grew up on like Frosty the Snowman, Grinch, Santa Claus, Charlie Brown, etc. I used to look forward to those every year. Now that they are on DVD... it messes up the excitement of looking forward to it. sad.gif

oh, I had to add that I also look forward to hearing my
Carpenters Christmas CD's. Beautiful music!

MomToJade&Jordan replied:
LOL!!!!!! It is a tradition thing. I guess I saw it first in childhood so it wasn't boring for us then? No offense taken.

Alice replied: White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. If you haven't ever seen it, borrow it from the library and see it!

My husband can't survive a year without seeing Rudolph. And it has to be when it's broadcast; videotape just won't cut it.

redchief replied: Hands down; A Christmas Story.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Mmmmm that's a hard one. I love all of them! wink.gif My favorite is probably White Christmas or the original Grinch. biggrin.gif

Josie83 replied: I love the Muppet's Christmas Carol, it still cracks me up when I watch it. To be honest I haven't seen that many. But Jason and I watched the Muppets one with Cassie last year and she loved it too! I can't believe how close Christmas is xx

5littleladies replied:
Jingle all the Way is Dh's favorite too! It's $9.99 for the Dvd at Target. thumb.gif

mrshires replied: A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, Miracle on 34th St, and It's a Wonderful Life.

But my FAVORITE is Holiday Inn w/ Bing Crosby.

Amanda

dolfinrse replied: Every year I have to watch A Christmas Story.

bucky replied: A Christmas Story - i'll buy my son a bb gun for christmas some year! my SO hates the fact that I want to watch this and only this on christmas eve/christmas.

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation - speaks for itself!

jem0622 replied: Hands down 'It's A Wonderful Life'. I did not see that until I was in college and fell in love with that movie. My absolute fave. I'm not a big fan of 'A Christmas Story'. DH is. tongue.gif

FroggyJK replied:
