What is your tots favorite word/phrase this week?

MommyToAshley wrote: Ashley's used to be, "No HELP, I do it"

But, she has moved on, her new thing is "I said No!" When I ask her to do something, like pick up her puzzles, she will say "no" just for the heck of it. I will say "yes', and then comes her favorite phrase, "I SAID NO!" I laughed the first time she said it, so now she uses it all the time. Oh, the joys of toddlerhood! wacko.gif

booey2 replied: Hi, Thomas now says to us "I not a bad boy, you bad boy." He even says this if we haven't called him one. We try not to call him a bad boy but say to him that he has done a bad thing. I tried to say to him the other day that he was wearing a "Bat Man" t-shirt, he said - " I not Bad Man, you bad man" He didn't quite grasp the difference between bat and bad. He also will yell at us if we try to discipline Matthew for hurting him, he comes at us and tells us to stop it. rolling_smile.gif

DansMom replied: Daniel's big word this week is "Again!". Another word this week is "Touch"! He uses this word when he wants to see a real example of something that he sees in a video or in a book. We're looking at a bulldozer in a book, for example, and he'll say "Touch!" and run to the door, meaning that he wants to go see/touch a real bulldozer. I'm supposed to go outside and magically make a bulldozer appear!? It's also suddenly, just this week, frustrating to him that the kids in his favorite videos can't be touched like real children. He'll say "Touch! Touch!" in a kind of lament. I guess he's really realizing that pictures are just pictures and is wanting much more than that---thirsty for new experiences!

ediep replied: Jason has been really into naming our family members. I made him a photo album of all of our family members months ago, but he just starting looking at it this week. He loves to look at my pic and say Mama and DH and say Dada, he finds my dads picture and says pop or JJ's Pop. We are still working on the others.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Jade's thing this week is please. She doesn't say it that way of course, but everytime she says it she drags it out so it sounds like peasssssssssssssssssssse. She knows now that she has to say the word in order to get what she wants. We passed the cheese section in the comissary this week and she said I want some cheese peasssssse. Of course I couldn't say no. rolling_smile.gif

Oh and another thing. She's tells me Bless when I sneeze. I forgot about that until just now when I sneezed.

MomToMany replied: rolling_smile.gif LOL, those kids sure are funny!!

Hannah's is still "I do it!". I don't think it will ever change blink.gif !

coasterqueen replied: Hmm, Kylie's favorite phrase this week is "I wuvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv youuuuuuuuuuuuu" which she loves to say to daddy. wub.gif DH had to coax her a bit to say it to me but I love hearing her say it to him more. She'll say it to him as he's leaving for work and as I'm closing the door behind him she's still saying it. wub.gif

She's also been saying "no" and "mine" a lot this week. rolleyes.gif

paradisemommy replied: well taven's new phrase is "oh man!". so if he drops something or makes a mess or just does something wrong - you hear him say "oh man!!" and he also says "hey baby!" to everyone (dh always says this to me and i think that's where he picked it up!).

that and everything is peas peas peas pease peeeeeeaaaaassssseeee..course i always give in cause who can resist that! rolling_smile.gif

amynicole21 replied: Sophia's word is "more." She uses it constantly... "More Wiggles!" "More singing!" "More nursing!" It's driving me mad wacko.gif We have a Laurie Berkner CD (from Noggin) which we have to listen to EVERY SINGLE BLESSED TIME we are in the car. blink.gif I could sing the entire thing to you right now. Anyway, whenever a song ends and there is a lull in the music she says "more!" like I am responsible for making the next song come on. I swear, if I never heard the word "more" again it would be too soon!! ! rolleyes.gif

MommyToAshley replied:
Ohhhh, I miss the days where Ashley's favorite saying was, "I love you". She still says it now and gives hugs, but not like she did when she first learned how to say it!

kimberley replied: teehee! these are all so cute! can't wait til Jade starts talking more. wub.gif

5littleladies replied: Brianna's new and favorite word of the week is "Yoohoo!!" She wakes up in the morning and yells "Yoohoo Mom. I want up!" It cracks me up! biggrin.gif

MomToMany replied:
rolling_smile.gif LOL, Hannah will say, "WOOHOOOO, MOOOOM!!" and wave her arms in front of me whenever she wants attention!

rolling_smile.gif We have some pretty silly kids on this bord!!

Kaitlin'smom replied: humm still loves UH OH, mine and recently owie or ouch

oh and her newest onw eeewwww rolling_smile.gif

Kirstenmumof3 replied: laugh.gif I taught Claudia to say "BAD BUG" while we were out at the camp last weekend. Now everything is BAD! laugh.gif

pinka_star replied: Emma's been saying "tank you" whenever you give her something, or she'll say it with you when she hands you something. It's pretty adorable!

aspenblue1 replied: Isabella's favorite phrase is no and something. "no want to take bath" no want to see boozer (that is what she calls aspen our dog)
Anything you ask her she says no to then throws a fit when you don't do it.

Sherry replied: "I hold you," meaning pick me up or I will cry and
"What's the deal."

jem0622 replied: Gabe says a lot, and his much used phrase changes regularly. Lately it is 'oh no, what happened?'. He says 'darn it' a lot too. rolleyes.gif

jingraham2121 replied: Drew has been saying "I just lookin!" I hear that everytime I tell her to leave something alone. Also, when I ask her to do something 4 or 5 times, she will finally do it after she says "OK OK OK!" (always in three's)

Josie83 replied: Cassie is always saying "I can't believe it!" all the time, she's picked that up from my sister! And "Where my daddy" I get asked that about a thousand times a day when he's not around - apparently she never asks where mumy is though - charming! "Why?" is of course another favourite. And she loves calling me "Miss madam" and her dad "mister man" . . . as in she'll say to my boyfriend "you put that down, mister man" if he's got something she wants, or "can I have a drink miss madam" to me if she wants a drink! Its so funny i think, but she said it my mother the other day (who really isn't Cassie's biggest fan anyway) and it did NOT go down well! xx

loveydad replied: Tracy's is "no be mad daddy, Tracy love you!" . The twits taught her that. She's also a fan of "Oh so handsome" to any boy and "oh so pwetty" to any girl. She'll also turn on the tv and look at like she's disgusted and go "TRASH!" like I always used to do before I saw how stupid I looked.
Her other fav thing was to take a toy from a sibling and go "no no Nicky dats Tracys," (or whoever)

baby.gif Nicky's favorite is "dadada? NONONO" and when I wont pick him up "HEY! HEYYYYYYYY!"

a freind of mine's daughter is 19 months and her favorite word was "absees" which meant Open This.
