coasterqueen replied: LOL! It's a cute movie, but I would shut it off at that point you mentioned too . The thing is even the cute disney movies and such have scary parts in it. Kylie gets scared when the forest catches fire in Bambi. Why do they put scary things in those movies.

I think that although Disney arepretty sugar-coated, they didn't want their films to be totally unrealistic and wrap kids up in cotton wool completely, so they put some "scary" bits in. Its sort of real life if you know what I mean? That's what my BIL told me anyway! xx

mammag replied: That's funny! My kids are on a big Gremlins kick right now too. They saw it on tv and then found it at Half Price Books so we bought it. Then they made me borrow Gremlins 2 at Blockbuster.

I loved that movie as a kid!!!

My2Beauties replied: I loved the Gremlins, I had a Gizmo doll too! You're not a horrible mom, I don't think it's that bad of a movie, except the gross part where he starts like popping out the little boogers, like little poop balls
