What sould I get my boy?
PrairieMom wrote: Christmas shopping now... He is into Mario. Thats it. and he only wants things that don't really exist, likea robot Mario, or for Mario to be real, if thats possible. He has way more than he needs, and doesn't play with anything any way. I hate to spend $ on something that will just sit in the closet until I have a garage sale.
Being green and cheap is sucking the joy right out of Christmas.
moped replied: You are hilarious!
I struggle with toys he might like for 5 minutes and then never touched again..........so I am in teh same boat. Sorry!
ZandersMama replied: Do you order from ebay? I found a ton of Mario stuff on ebay brand new around Zanders birthday. He has a yoshi stuffy and a bee-mario stuffy from mario galaxy.
moped replied: What is Mario? A video game?

can you tell i love Mario
CantWait replied: I'm the same way, won't get Anthony toys because he won't play with them. This year I got him the Leapster 2 with games and charger, and he's going to get a big box of art supplies since his are running low.
ZandersMama replied: you live under a rock?
mario is the hero in all the mario brothers games. all nintendo systems have a few mario games. my fave right now is mario galaxy for the wii. mario can do anything. hes better then superman.
im a gamer
moped replied: We are nto gamers at all - LOLOL
I know nothing about that stuff.
And Jack doesn't play video games other than Thomas online.
ZandersMama replied: i'm hooked , especially the wii. I love it for zan, he has a very generous godfather, so alot of games. Wii sports is his favorite, and I love it because he has to get up and move to play it. I'm thinking about getting him Wii fit for Christmas, seems like something he would like.
I've been playing mario since I was about 3 on various machines, starting with atari. My dad is a gamer too.
Our Lil' Family replied: Tara how about movie tickets, or something that's touring like Disney on Ice...just an example. I like to give gifts for something we can DO instead of something that collects dust.
PrairieMom replied: you know, like Mario? Good grief. You got a cell phone, now welcome to the 21st century. like super Mario, nintendo. I don't really want to encourage his tendency to become obsessed with video games tho. I don't want to turn him onto his father.
PrairieMom replied: ITA, I am going to get family passes to the water park, but that is a pretty abstract concept for a 5 year old, to open an envelope Christmas morning and get something he has to wait 6 months to do. I want to give them both the gift of experiences for Christmas, but they still have to have something to open.
Calimama replied: Hahahahha
