He doesn't like to go outside the box when it comes to names. I have thought of a lot of really cool names, but he usually won't go for it.

Well, DH and I can't agree on names..ever. We think we do then we don't after a week. I wouldn't know what to name a girl..for boys I like Ciaran or Nicholas..

Gladly, Jen.  Joe is the name of my father in law. Ron is my father's name. We wanted to carry on a piece of the fathers in our lives by naming our boy after them. We had all sorts of combinations to include their names, but this was the final one we settled upon when I was pregnant with Kellie.

my2monkeyboys replied: If we ever have a little girl it's already decided I think that we'd name her Emily Elizabeth-Grace (first name is what I'd call her, the middle names are our mothers' names), and if we ever have a baby boy, my DH loves Waylon, but all I can think of is that people would call Will Willie then... and I couldn't handle that! 
ETA: I really love the name Max for a boy, but I don't know, as I don't really care for for any of the full versions of "Max" that I've heard (Maximillan, etc). We could always just name him Waylon Max, I guess. I also like Jack, but there are 2 other people I know fairly well who named their kids this, so....

Another boy I'd name Jack or Blake (a family name on my moms side)

I like the names Roxanne, Michelle, and Cynthia, but dh hates them.
If I was a little braver, I'd say I really like the neames Ocean or River for a boy, and Meadow for a girl.

For a girl I always liked the name Sarah or Linea (Lynn-nay-ah).
