What would you pay?

Crystalina wrote: For these cotton bottle cozies? They are for 8oz bottles. Or maybe you wouldn't even use them. Either way, let me know. Brutal honesty is the best and you know I love you so just let me have it. smile.gif

I realize that with the economy the way it is this is the LAST thing a person needs to spend their money on so would you (if you had a baby)?

And price, price, price. (for 2)

PrairieMom replied: sorry, wouldn't use. If i did, I wouldn't pay more than $5.
are you having much luck with ETSY?

Crystalina replied:
I am LOVING Etsy! biggrin.gif

This does not really "go" with what I'm doing but I was messing around and I love them for Gabby. smile.gif

cameragirl21 replied: I don't think I'd use them either but I have to say you've come a long way in your knitting.

Crystalina replied: Thanks Jennifer. It's called not sleeping. happy.gif

cameragirl21 replied: How much do you charge for that stuff? Depending on what you can make, I may want to buy some....
And I hope I didn't insult you by calling it "that stuff" I just didn't know how else to categorize it all, knitting is SO not my forte....

coasterqueen replied: Nope, don't think I'd use them...that's if I had babies. happy.gif They are really neat, though! thumb.gif

moped replied: They are a neat idea, but I wouldn't use them and I was a bottle feeder......but nice job!

Now make some more hats or headband things and I am IN!!!!!!

Crystalina replied:
Nowhere NEAR what others charge. And you know what the others charge! ohmy.gif

I don't want to put a link here... spam.gif but if you go to my blog (in my sig) I have my Etsy Mini and you can click and go from there.

moped replied: Can you tell me what Etsy is????

mckayleesmom replied: I bought some of those for my niece one time...they were a little different and had little animals on them. She loved them and I only paid a dollar each for them.

TrulyBlessed replied: Although they look cute. I wouldn't buy them.

Calimama replied: No, probably not. You did a great job on them though!

PrairieMom replied:
ETSY.com. Its a place where you can sell hand made items. I have some bows up there, Crystal has her stuff there too, Rocky had stuff up for a while. Most sellers are pretty expensive, but you can find some really cute stuff on there. Thats where I got my reusable sandwich holders.

boyohboyohboy replied: I dont know if you already thought of this or how it would even be done...but when I had babies, all of mine always pulled their socks off..I always wanted to have a knitted pair of booties that had like a pull draw sting in the ankle that I could tie so that they couldnt get at the socks...do you make those kinds of things? Maybe the tie would be in the back so the baby wouldnt see it and pull at it??
I dont have a use for something like that now, with no babies in the house..but I wanted to put that out there...

boyohboyohboy replied: I saw your page now, and that little green bag you made you dgt would make the cutest little booties, and it had a string on it, did it pull it tight?

Crystalina replied:
Yes, that one has a drawstring. Bella uses that for her lunch money. happy.gif

I was going to attempt booties sometime in the next week or so. I never really use booties but I know a lot of people do. They would make a great gift. thumb.gif

Thanks for your input on my ohsonotpopularonparentingclub bottle cozy. rolling_smile.gif I would never buy them that's for sure but I then did a search and they are everywhere on there so I took the average price, added a second cozy for that price and stuck them up. Maybe they will sell. If not I'm not out too much $$. happy.gif

I know what not to get you all. emlaugh.gif rolling_smile.gif tongue.gif

PrairieMom replied:
rolling_smile.gif eeh. What do ya do? rolling_smile.gif You know, I have had way more luck selling stuff off facebook just accidentally than I have selling on ETSY.

Crystalina replied:
I'd like to add my Etsy to FB. I've heard you can but I don't know how. I started a MySpace for it but I don't really have the time to have a seperate MS.

Crystalina replied: Do you get paid with PP Tara?

PrairieMom replied:
I actually just take pictures of things i have made and put it up on my facebook, then people ask me about it. I don't have anything official up there. I don't know how to do that either.

PrairieMom replied:
pay pal? yup. super easy.

Mommy2Isabella replied: I am not a bottle feeder, but I wouldn't use it sad.gif

They have the silicone ones for the Born Free bottles and those are like $6 a piece !!
