What's Wrong With Me Today
Kirstenmumof3 wrote: I can't do this anymore. The pressure of having neighbours that smoke dope. I had a constable call this morning and he told me I have 3 choices
1. I can confront them myself and ask if they could smoke the stuff outside. 2. I can wait 3 days for my landlord to do something and then call the Landlord and Tenants Act. 3. I can call this constable back and have him send someone out to investigate the problem.
I told the constable that I would wait to see what my landlord does and then call him.
I just blew up at DH because he changed the pin number for our Airmiles and didn't bother to tell me. So I took that as he didn't want me to use his Airmiles. When it was really just a misunderstanding and he needed to change it when he talked to there Customer Service Rep about the movie passes that we ordered for the kids that we didn't recieve.
Then I got pissed off at him because he was going to email me the money that I emailed him this weekend, saying that I need it. I told him I'm never going to become independant unless I pay him back the money I owe him.
I've been feeling really low all day and crying a lot. I just can't do this anymore!

regarding the neighbors, is the smell coming into your apartment? That must be terrible.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Yup right into my apartment. The smell is so bad that I have to light candles before I can even attempt to go to bed.
redchief replied: That's awful, Kirsten. Living with such conditions, no wonder your temper is short!
MommyToAshley replied: I agree... I wouldn't want to live under those conditions. No one should have to. Not to mention, I wouldn't want my kids exposed to it.
I don't understand why the police don't do something? It's not legal there is it? If you don't get results, I would keep going up the police chain until you do!
amynicole21 replied: I'm so sorry, sweetie.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. You have a lot going on. Now this may be a stupid question, but what is a constable? I've never heard of it. Please don't confront the neighbors yourself. I don't think that's a wise choice. I think having someone come out and investigate would be best, but that's JMHO.

bawoodsmall replied: I agree with Rae on the confronting neighbors thing. People are wacko..dont go there. I am sorry you are having a rough time.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: The police are involved. It's just up to me as to what I want them to do. I really would rather have the Landlord deal with this and have him call the police. But if it does come down to it I will call the constable again.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: His a police officer that has more training.
luvmykids replied: What has the landlord said about it in the past? Are these college kids or a rougher crowd? Is there any chance of a vacancy in the same complex coming up and you moving if worse comes to worse?
luvmykids replied: posted twice
Kirstenmumof3 replied: It's a family, they have a little boy about 2 years old and they bread chinchilas (they have stickers on there windows claiming to be certified breaders). The husband is trying to become a Canadian Citizen. I'm going to call my landlord tonight and see what he says.
