What's for Dinner?

I created a FABULOUS and EASY recipe a couple of weeks ago...I buy the new Orleans Cajun Flavored Lipton Rice packs(2 of them) and make that as directed for microwave directions on back of pack - 5 minutes so it's still a little runny. While the rice is cooking I sautee 4 pieces of chicken cut into pretty thin pieces and then I dump the rice in the pan with the chicken and add 1 cup of frozen sweet corn and mix all together and cook for a few minutes and voila an AWESOME cajun dish in 15 minutes total time! Anyhow, that's what we're having tonight!

Anyways, I have NO idea what to cook tonight. Usually friday's are our eat out nights, but I chose to do that last night.  So now I am stuck cooking, with no ideas LOL

MommyToAshley replied: I stuck some chicken and dumplings in the crock pot this morning and have been smelling it cook all day long....  So, I can't wait for dinner. And, we have a big bowl of salad in the fridge that was made this afternoon, so'll we'll have that as well.
I just cut a fresh pineapple, I was going to make a fruit salad but Ashley and DH already dug into the pineapple. So, not sure what I will do, probably just have some jello or fruit for desert.

lisar replied: Well I have made all the dinners this week quick and easy so tonight I decided they DD and DH needed to eat some real food. So I cooked pork chops and brocoli and some itialian noodles. It was really good. I wanted to make some biscuits but didnt have any crisco. I ran out.

mammag replied: I was a bad, bad girl!!! I went and got McDonalds! (so much for eating good...oh well, one meal one kill me) The kids had been begging all day because the kids meals have NeoPets now which they are soooooo in to. I couldn't go through and not get anything......so I got......Big N Tasty, LARGE Fry , and a regular (not diet) Coke....
Boy was it worth it!! I don't mind if I have to kick up the aerobics this week. It was well deserved too, I've been cleaning all day. The house is looking good!

A&A'smommy replied: I made chicken fingers and ocra since dh was gone this week I wanted to make his favs for him but since he got car sick on his way home I didn't fix a veggie to go with it I will probably get ALyssa some grapes and yogurt for dessert or fix her some corn later
