What's going in those stockings?

MoonMama wrote: What is everyone putting in the kids stockings? I'm kind of stuck on things to put in Brae's. dunno.gif

So far I have:

Some Cars stickers.
Farm animal stickers.
A little caterpillar you wind up and it goes.
A little Cars tin.

All little $1 items I picked up at Michael's.

Oh and some natural gummy bears from Whole Foods.

mom21kid2dogs replied: In our house Santa fills the stocking. He got her a nintendo DS, cute little plaid storage purse and a Build A Bear game.

moped replied: Oh I haven't done inventory yet........ rolleyes.gif

Jack will get

Lite Brite - really for me, but he was my best excuse!
A wall map of the world
Crayole Color explosion board
Jammies
hot wheels cars - 24 in a pack

Then from us he is getting a carry case for the cars, a hot wheels race track and so much more I can't remember!!!! I am considering seeing what I have for him and donating a few toys. At our office w ehave huge boxes to donate new unwrapped toys, so I will likely do that with both kids

Laila has a few toys, jammies......she is pretty easy to please these days laugh.gif

mckayleesmom replied: For Mckaylee around Brae's age I did

Bathtub crayons
those fizzy things that turn the water a different color
bathtub toys
stuffed animal
book
cartoon socks

This year I just grabbed a bunch of stuff from the dollar thing at Target for Mckaylee so far....They had a bunch of Hello Kitty stuff.

PrairieMom replied: We will have to see what the kids ask for, but auntie Kol is getting Ben his big ticket from santa item, so I think santa will be bringing craft supplies. A box of crayons, markers, paints, and an activity book.

luvmykids replied: I haven't actually planned it yet, but I usually do a little candy, jewelry for the girls, stickers, army men for Colt, markers or crayons, just whatever little doo dads I come across. This year Colt will get a stapler in his, he wants one soooo bad for his Army desk rolleyes.gif laugh.gif

AlexsPajamaMama replied: This year he is getting chalk and dry erase markers, beeds and string, a tooth brush, batteries and probably candy

stella6979 replied: Avery will be getting a new toothbrush, underwear, bath paint, bubble bath, vitamins, and she insists that she needs a flashlight, so I guess I'll throw one in for her. biggrin.gif

CantWait replied: I haven't found a lot here for either of the boys, so honestly I don't know if I'm doing stocking stuffers yet. I can't do bubble bath and bath crayons because it's very drying for the boys and even little things like army men are expensive. I found a small snow globe for Anthony's stocking lol. We'll have to see.

MommyToAshley replied:
Santa fills our stockings too. Ashley has that Build-A-Bear game for the Nintendo DS and loves it!! I bet O will too. thumb.gif

This year Santa is just putting a few small trinkets (some play jewelry) and candy in the stocking because he's also putting in tickes for front row seats to see High School Musical on Ice.

MoonMama replied:
rolling_smile.gif Its funny you mention that my dad just called me a bit ago and told me he bought Brae tickets for High School Musical On Ice (its here in Jan). rolleyes.gif It figures after I put my parents through boy bands that my child would put me through the HSM craze and at all of 2. rolleyes.gif laugh.gif

Calimama replied: Play doh
Dress up stuff (wand, play jewerly, tiara's)
Stickers
Crayons
Socks
Hat
Bubble bath

jem0622 replied: We give the kids each an orange or tangerine. It is a tradition in my husband's family. The girls (4) will get Play-doh. I am thinking about getting them all a DVD from half.com. So much cheaper. Coloring books are good. My boys are into cards (Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh) so they will get a pack or two. Sometimes I put candy in there too.

3xsthefun replied: I have no idea.

Cece00 replied: I've gotten a few things together over the past yr and I dont really remember too much...I think there are some coloring books for each kid, candy (I do some candy bars, a pack of skittles etc), some smallish toys...I know I got a couple of those mini axe deodorant sprays for my older 2 kids (DH wears axe sometimes & they think its cool to smell like him laugh.gif )

I usually do new toothbrushes, a bottle of bubble bath, bath toys/crayons, small toys (like pokemon)/other small toys, candy, coloring books, playdoh or crayons or something, underwear/socks, etc

Nothing too big, stockings are just for little "extras" in our family.

Brias3 replied: We don't do much for stockings here- mainly trinkets. Santa does fill them though.

The only things I have for them so far is a Christmas book each, a lipgloss and nail polish set for Aliyah and Star Wars Pez dispensers for the boys.

mom21kid2dogs replied:
Tickets to the Cheetah Girls a few tears ago were a huge hit from Santa. I bet Ashley will be thrilled. Is it coming to Columbus or Cincy?

MoonMama replied: I've now added:

Organic lollypops
Snowman socks
Some twistable crayons

lisar replied: I got all kinds of little things like

hair bows
lotion
body wash
christmas socks
crayons
pencils
and I cant remember what else.

moped replied:
It is too bad I didn't know this before because I could have sent a box for you from Canada......stocking stuff, but I am sure it wouldn't get there in time now...........darn!

Kaitlin'smom replied: santa fills ours as well.

so little things like, jewlery (play) hair stuff, toothbrush, ect. not sure what all I have I need to find out cause I think I am done with her smile.gif Actually I am mostly done just a few things left to get.
