I think everyone appreciates it too! It was just weird b/c it was all of a sudden and a lot of it. KWIM? It was like we got hit w/a Spam bomb or something.

I noted over the last week or so that we seem to have been more noticed by the Russian spammers. There's not much in the way of anti-spam enforcement over there so complaining won't likely produce much as far as results go. I only hope they find the registration process too time consuming for the number of hits they get and the amount of time their spam gets to sit. The main thing is, if you see something that's obviously spam, don't follow the link out, report it to a mod for removal. Thanks.

ETA: No worries, I'm not likely to take my weirdness too far away.
