I have always liked my middle name. I like it alot better then my first name.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I don't have a middle name. My parents decided that Carrie-Ann was enough. My maiden name was pretty long.

I guess that's why I made sure both girls have middle names. Jade's is Rose and Jordan's is Elizabeth.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Anne with the "e" is my mom's middle name. I'd probably call her Annie when she was younger, but that is assuming a lot of things. First off that I have another child ever and second if it is a girl. I kind of like Anne Catherine. My mom and me.

I like Anne Marie alot better than Anne. AND I like that mine is spelled with an E. Sorry Ann

Also, my mother 'hated' Annie. When I got my first job, that is what I was called. And when friends (especially boys), would call and ask for Annie she would say "Sorry but noone by that name lives here" I was too shy to correct people but she trained them pretty fast.

My sister's name is Ann without an "e" and she made everyone start spelling it with an E when she was younger. Probably because we were watching Anne of Green Gable a lot. She still prefers it that way.

Everyone has always called me "Annie". My parents loved the nickname, and it's always stuck with me. At work, the kids call me "Mrs. Annie." All my friends call me Annie.

I don't know why I always sign my name Ann, since I go by Annie. But I'm glad you like that as a nickname for her, because most likely...she'll have it!

If you like Anne for a first name - you could always use my first name as a middle name to be - Anne Judy.

My mom's middle name starts with an L and she had to do that with both my sister and I.

Kylie's middle name is Elizabeth and Megan's is Nicole.

My grandmother's name is Ann and Shawn's grandmother was Lily. I didn't want Lily Ann or Ann Lily so he picked Annika Lily.

I am going to push to use it this time if we have another girl. DH really wanted "Grace" as a middle name for Natalie, so I agreed. But if we have another girl, depending on the first name we pick, I'd really like to use Shea.

BTW its pronouned SHAY for anyone who doesnt know the name/hasnt seen the name. You'd be surprised how many ppl think its pr "She-uh"
