When is back to school for everyone?

I can't believe it's almost time again. Kylie starts back up on Monday, August 24 and Megan starts back up on Tuesday, September 7.

luvmykids replied: All three, full time, August 24 I'm sort of ready, we've had an awesome summer and it's sad to see it go but I love the routine of school and am super excited about being Macie's cheer coach and a sub at their school.

boyohboyohboy replied: we havent gotten our letter yet so I am not sure, I have heard thru the grape vine in our neighborhood that school hours are changing for us, and the kids are going from 9am-4pm now... has that happened anywhere else???

youngmomofone replied: My daughter goes to first grade on August 24th. I wish they would have them go 9am to 4pm, but she goes from 730am to 245pm. I'm not a morning person so it will be hard getting out of the bed so early!

Kentuckychick replied: Most of our schools started back today and some tomorrow... so early. When I was a child we didn't go back until AFTER LABOR DAY. It seems like they're really cutting back on vacation. They do get a full week fall break sometime in October though.

the schools here start after labor day. my "nephew" starts pre-school the week of labor day (september 8th being the first day). i graduated from high school and i don't start classes until september 16th!

mom21kid2dogs replied: Olivia goes back on August 24th. Her bookbag has been packed and waiting by the door for a good two weeks now. She is so excited about school!

All our elementaries are changing hours. Unoffically, I heard it was because the superintendent was seeing too many buses at McDonald's between the HS and Elememtary runs. Never heard anything, officially, though.

Does your district have a website? Maybe the info is on there!
