When was your cycle "regular"

When did your cycle become normal again? Did it take a while?

We would like to begin TTC so I wm trying to get this thing figured out.

coasterqueen replied: I got AF back the week before Kylie turned 10 months Just last month my cycle finally got regular! So it took a good 5 months, almost 6 for it to go back to normal, or almost normal.

Kaitlin'smom replied: well I never had a true reg cylce, so for me it showed up in Aug almost 8 months and then did not regulate until Nov when she slowed down on nursing, now for the past 3 months 28 days exact! I have NEVER been that regular with AF.

MomToMany replied: I've always been somewhat "regular"; it showed up at pretty much the same time each month. After having Hannah, AF showed up at 11 months PP, and was regular each month til I got PG again.

victoire2002 replied: I had to quite BFing to get my cycle back. It might have been coincidental (average time for PP AF is 14 months), but I did quit at 12 months, and cycle came back at 14 months. We stopped BFing so we could start TTC again.

Most times you don't have to have your cycle back to ttc Meaning you still can BF and ttc without a cycle. Lots of women get pg by "oops" because they thought that BF was their birth control.

Not sure with having to take clomid, though.

kimberley replied: i never got my cycle back after having Jacob but got pg again when he was about 9mos old. i was still nursing Jacob until he was about 13 mos. i nursed James until about the same age and never got regular until after i stopped.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I can't remember when AF returned pp. I think it was about when Jade was 5/6 months. It was regular until Jade stopped nursing. Then it would be late or early. I think it took me a good 3-4 months for it to get regular again.

My2Carebears replied: mine was normal the second month after I had Angel. Of course i was on the pill. I stopped it last october, So now I am a 28-30 day cycle

5littleladies replied: Mine has been regular for about 2 months and I got AF back when Brianna was 11 months-she's almost 18 now. So it took about 4 months to get normal.
