Where can I find chocolate coins?
MommyToAshley wrote: Ashley's teacher sent home a note last week asking if anybody wanted to help with treats for Saint Nicholas day. St. Nicholas is going to leave treats for the kids in the class. (It's a secret, the kids don't know about it) I forgot to reply so I sent a note today asking if they still needed anything, and she asked if I could bring chocolate coins. It is COLD out today and I don't want to drive around everywhere looking for chocolate coins... does anyone know for sure if Walmart or someplace else carries them?
coasterqueen replied: Walgreens, I believe. I was there yesterday and I recall seeing them there.
MommyToAshley replied: OH THANK YOU --- There is one very close, just up the street!
amynicole21 replied: I always see them at Toys R Us also.
Kaitlin'smom replied: the party store has them, I would call before going anywhere though cause it is COLD
luvmykids replied: If you have a Cost Plus World Market they have them also.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: I got some at Target...they have sponge bob ones and dora/diego ones
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Walgreens. It's what we handout for Hannukah, but I think they make some without menorahs on them.
PrairieMom replied: Shopko. Saw them in the check out line today.
holley79 replied: They ahve them at our Walgreens also. I hope you are able to get some.
MommyToAshley replied: OOOPS, I bought them last night and didn't even look to see what was on them. I just grabbed them and paid for them. I sent them (wrapped up and concealed) to school with Ashley this morning. I have no idea what was on them???? I wonder if they did have menorahs on them?
Oh well... Ashley has been coming home telling me about Christmas around the world and all the different traditions in all the different countries. She came home from the book fair with a book called "Blues Clues Hannukah". So, I don't think it will be that big of a deal if the coins have menorahs on them.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: That's cute of her! I'll have to look for that book for the boys. I'm sure you bought the xmas ones, but you're right, I'm sure the teachers and kids won't mind.
MommyToAshley replied: The book is cute, and I learned a few things myself from reading it to Ashley.
