Where do you get your news?
cameragirl21 wrote: If you watch or read the news daily, where do you get your news? I read AP, Reuters, CNN, BBC, Haaretz and Al Jazeera everyday, that way I get a good, well rounded source of news. And you?
PrairieMom replied: Here. Actually we watch the local news and then the today show, but I get a good portion of my random news from here. I forgot to mention, the daily show and The colbert show. we watch that every night.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Lol! I was going to say the same thing. I do watch snatches of the news on tv and I will occasionally just go to Foxnews.com or kstp or something but most of the time I have no idea about what's going on until someone tells me or I read it here.
cameragirl21 replied: LOL, Tara. Actually, I'm eager to get daily reports of the situation in the middle east for obvious reasons which is why I go to so many different news sources. This way I get the US's POV, Europe's POV, Israel's POV and the Arabs' POV. And then from there I try to determine the real truth....
stella6979 replied: I read it at Cnn, clickondetroit, and trutv. I rarely ever watch the news, but I do love Colbert.
Our Lil' Family replied: If it doesn't come on Disney or PBS we probably don't see it! We do try to catch the local news at 9pm after T is in bed...doesn't always happen though. I do catch things on Yahoo since it's my homepage.
Boys r us replied: uhmmm yahoo home page? LOL
5littleladies replied: Foxnews and local news station sites.
jcc64 replied: NPR ,New Yorker magazine, and Salon.com for the more in depth, political stuff, Yahoo home page for the quick, "this is what happened last night while you were sleeping" stuff.
gr33n3y3z replied: Same here LOL
Calimama replied: Same here!!
luvbug00 replied: cnn and bbc and inernet
luvmykids replied: It's rare for me to watch the news on tv unless I want to see the weather...the rest comes from my msn home page.
HuskerMom replied: I'd say local news, fox news.
msoulz replied: Same here - too much bad news on the local news.
youngmomofone replied: I dont watch the news. If something was important enough it will be posted on either board I'm on.
Crystalina replied: I breath MSNBC. I even sleep with it on. Once in a blue moon I'll get our local paper and about every other night I catch Columbus news on the local channels.
my2monkeyboys replied: Hmmm... I'd have to say Fox, local and some local websites. Also my Yahoo page, for those usually-useless kind of news updates.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: msbnc news on my windows vista side bar and I get noon news headlines in my email from the local news channel website, along with the local weather forcast and entertainment news
eta: and I get breaking news updates in my email too
Brias3 replied: I'll flick on CNN occasionally during the day and I watch the local news at night. We also get the New York Times daily and our city paper weekly, delivered to the house, plus I keep up online with other papers as well.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: I usually get it from my crystal ball the day before it happens.
HuskerMom replied: That reminds me of that show Early Edition, where the cat brought the guy the newspaper from the next day.
mommymommy replied: We watch Fox News Daily and sometimes I will turn on MSN and I read my news online as well
