Where do you get your - pictures printed?

MoonMama wrote: Ok all you digital camera people....where do you get your pictures printed? Do you do it at home? Or send them out? Take your memory stick and get them printed somewhere etc? I do print them at home as needed (a gift, scrapbook project, etc)....but I do send my pictures I want printed over the internet to one hour photo at Sam's Club. I do this once a month sometimes more. I'm doing this right now and I got to thinking what do you all do?

Calimama replied: Shutterfly!!

MoonMama replied:
How long does it take to get them?

Calimama replied:
Hmm like 4 days?

MoonMama replied:
Oh that's not too bad I may have to look into that. thumb.gif

Teesa®© replied: When I had to have pix printed - which hasn't been for a while - I put mine on disk [yeah, yeah, I still have disks!! rolling_smile.gif ] and brought them to Shoppers. As far as I know, you can bring a memory stick there, too. DH is pretty sure he took the actual camera memory card to Shoppers to get pix printed out.

DH and his brother went in together and bought their Mom and Dad a printer to print out their pix for the digital they also bought Mom and Dad. It was an HP Printer and it cost them about $49 Canadian.

Mostly, I just save all our digital pix to my puter - mine's the only one that you can plug the actual card into - and as soon as I finish sorting and dating all the ones I have, I'm burning them to CD's.

mom21kid2dogs replied: I prefer Cord Camera but live about 20 minutes away from one. I print some from home on premium photo paper. I print some from Walmart as well, although the quality at ours is not good for some reason. I've gotten large prints from Shutterfly. Their quality is pretty good too. I like picturepreview.com for scrabooking pics because they offer a huge variety of sizes including 3X3 and 3X4 which I sometimes like to use if I have a large number of photos for a layout.

I never take out my memory card when I print. I also never store anything on the memory card. If it corrupts, you'll likely lose it all. I download immediately and back up on a CD. We also have an external hard drive back up. We thought we lost all our pics once when a program corrupted. That cured me from my usual procrastionation in this area!

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: Typically I will use Costco or CVS....just depends on how fast I need them. CVS is across the street so I can walk there...Costco is where I tend to do most of my shopping so I go at least every other week

AlexsPajamaMama replied: I use snapfish.com
They have .9cent prints and you can add cool borders and stuff to them for free!

Kaitlin'smom replied: depends, some I print at home, some are sent to walgreens and some I do with kodak. I tried walmart a few times but there colors was so off it and for some reason they like to crop and 8x10 cutting some of the head off. I wont use them anymore one to many bad prints.

coasterqueen replied: Print at home or Walgreens.

Boo&BugsMom replied: Home. smile.gif

luvmykids replied: Walgreens if I'm in a hurry, Sams if I'm not. I have everything to print at home, it's just too expensive.

youngmomofone replied: I order them from Kodak.

A&A'smommy replied: I order them from a professional lab online whenever I order for clients tongue.gif

But shutterfly is really good!!! thumb.gif

HuskerMom replied: I do mine at walmart, it only takes about 5 or 10 minutes and they always turn out really good.

skinkybaby replied: Kodak. They have a deal going on right now- 150 prints for $15. Coupon Code: 15PRINTS
You can also pick them up at a store near you and not pay shipping and handling.
