Where have I been?

They told me I was over-qualified for the floater position. I found that amusing, but I am a college graduate. I really like this school. It's Christian and small. Jordan will be going there as well which I am so excited about. I have set my sights high and hope to be a director one of these days. It's such a rewarding job and I just can't wait to start.

Let's see what else...oh I have a boyfriend. We've been seeing each other for almost 5 months now. He's a bit older, but that doesn't seem to matter. He lives in Port Charlotte which is a ways from Tallahasse, but that isn't really an issue to me. We are taking our time, but we have a great time when we are together. Not sure what it will all bring, but I am happy and I guess that is all that matters.

It's sort of funny to me, but it almost feels like my life is finally starting. Kind have been in a limbo these past few years. I have been teaching music, but that has taken a hit because of the economy. I found myself in a tough spot where I had to get work and it had to happen pronto. Wound up at Target again for a bit, and knew that I needed out of there the minute I went back. Not sure what is going to happen next, but hopefully things are going to look up from now on. I have pics I am going to get up here when I get the chance. There are tons so I have to look through them and edit.

Jade is doing really well. She had to take K again. It was hard for me to make the decision, but the teacher told me this would be best for her. She was all right last year, but the teacher felt that maturity wise she was just not ready. So she went back and has the same teacher (who adores her by the way). She is doing AWESOME this year. So to me the decision was a sound one. I'm really proud of her, and even better she is proud of herself.

Okay well I guess that's it for now. Missed you guys and so glad to be back. I'll get those pics up as fast as I can.

Congrats on the job, sounds like it is just what you need and want!

And a new BF, that is wonderful. I am glad you are sounding happy and content right now. And speaking of being older, my DH is 12 years older than me......its all good!
