Which do you like better?
MommyToAshley wrote: Looking at all the pictures tonight reminded me that I have a crop coming up this weekend and I need to print some pics for the spreads. I am going to work on this past spring/summer...
So, do you think I should do this page with color pics or b/w pics? I am torn. I hate this, I am too indecisive to scrap...LOL.

Awww... what cute photos!!
I would definitely go with color especially with that first picture. There's something about the colors (the red shoes, the green sunglasses and that orange popsicle) that really pop out and add something fun to the picture.
So adorable and it looks FUN!
Calimama replied: Colored ones. It reminds me of summer.
luvmykids replied: I agree, the colors are just too perfect for a summer page!
I have a hard time scrapping for the exact reason....I sit around all night trying to decide on my first page and everyone else has finished a dozen
Crystalina replied: There are sooo many colors in their shirts and with the ice cream I would go color!
ETA: The green glasses and the brick red on the bottom of the little girls shoes...Color.
MommyToAshley replied: What about the fish pond...
b/w....
MommyToAshley replied: or color
Crystalina replied: I like the b&w the way you have it and the color of Ashley by herself is perfect. I think both are great the way they are.
Calimama replied: I'd use both!
MommyToAshley replied: Here is the other one I will probably use in the series...
Would it look right to have some b/w and some color, or should they all be the same? Sorry to ask so many questions, I am not really good at making these decisions. I have some "old fashioned" paper that I have been wanting to use b/w photos on, but I always seem to choose the color version of the photos over the b/w. But, I really want to use this paper with b/w photos. LOL.
Calimama replied: I think it would look fine. Cute pictures!!
luvmykids replied: I think you can do both. You could always try a super thin border of black around the color pics along with your other border to tie them together if you wanted...does that make any sense? If you were going to use a border that is the color of the sunglasses, you could do a teensy border of black around the green too, or vice versa, kwim?
Crystalina replied: Yes, what she said.
Or if you think the that one is over powering the other just make up for it with embellishments of the opposite colors.
You could put the b&w and color on black paper. The color would really pop like that and then just mess around with embellishments that go with it. Maybe some silver.
CantWait replied: or you could do 2 pages. One with colour and one with b&w. I like the colour ones personally, very summery.
MommyToAshley replied: Thanks for the tips. I think I will save my old-fashioned paper for something else. We're going to have a garage sale this spring and Ashley wants to sell lemonade... so I'll take some pics of her lemonade stand. Maybe that would be neat on the old-fashioned paper.
kimberley replied: you can do color for the first few then b/w with color high lights for the others to go on one page. sorry.. don't know what that effect is actually called lol.
Boys r us replied: I agree definitely color!!! Those are adorable!
mom21kid2dogs replied: Your crop doesn't happen to be a CM crop in Amish country, does it? My sister & I are doing one this weekend too. It would be to funny (and fun) to end up at the same crop weekend!!!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Crops are the only time I get any scrapbooking stuff done.
stella6979 replied: I love B&W photos, but the colors in these pics are just so nice. You could always make them B&W and then enhance the colors you want to show.
grapfruit replied: One way to use both would be to put velumn (sp?) over the colors to mute them a bit.
katiesmom2002 replied: I like the b/w but man they both are cute so it would be so hard to decided im to indecisive too lol
MommyToAshley replied: No, it's at a local scrapbooking store. A friend of mine asked me to go to a all-weekend crop that would include staying over-night but I couldn't go. Is the one you are going to an all-weekend one? Maybe it was the same one? We should try to get together one weekend... we live so close!
mom21kid2dogs replied: The one I'm going to is Friday to Sunday. I'm going Sat & Sun (stay overnight Sat). It's in Berlin. I *think* the consultants are from Columbus. My sister sent me the initial info on it. I'm always in the market for scrappin friends! My sister is the only one I scrap with~none of my friends do it or have any desire. Party Poopers!
holley79 replied: I love the color prints best. I love B&W pictures but with pictures like that I like color.
Calimama replied: Good idea!
