While I am SO not a fan of Tom Brady...
luvmykids wrote: I gotta give it to the Patriots But wouldn't that suck to have an undefeated season and then lose in the playoffs?
Danalana replied: I have much to say about the Patriots and Tom brady, but I'm still too mad to do it. I will just say that they should have lost. Just like at least 3 other games.
I have a feeling they will lose to the Colts...and Marvin Harrison starts back tomorrow! he's my brother. So is Peyton Manning.
luvmykids replied: Not a Colts fan, (although my son IS ) but I really like Peyton.
Danalana replied: Oh, I love them sooooo much One thing I love is that they play with class. Not like a team i COULD mention (rhymes with schmatriots).
luvmykids replied: I will definitely be a Colts fan for that game!
Danalana replied: The one good thing about the Patriot's win tonight: maybe Tom Brady's head will be too big to fit in his helmet for the playoffs
luvmykids replied: ROFL
Ok, I can't talk about him anymore....even making fun of him my blood pressure is going up at this very moment
What's that saying..."He who angers you, conquers you"
Danalana replied: LOL. We were at my BIL's watching the game. I told Richard I was leaving without him if he didn't come (about 1:00 to go)...I was so angry.
grapfruit replied: I like the Colts! They're better then my "local" team (Bengals). And really, Indy is probably just as "close" as Cincy is....PLUS one of the guys I went to school w/plays for the Colts (Quinn Pitcock) So I say GO COLTS!
Danalana replied: I like you, Casey.
grapfruit replied: Aw, thanks Dana! I like you too!
Danalana replied: I knew it!
Calimama replied: I know nothing about football just wanted to add that Tom Brady is YUMMY looking!
My3LilMonkeys replied: I agree. And the fact that they were CAUGHT cheating but will still be allowed the distinction of having a perfect season irritates me as well.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Okay I can't even look at the sports news. I'm a Giants fan so I really wanted the Pats to lose. I was so freaking mad when there was 11:00 minutes left in the game and the anouncer was like we might as well congradulate the NE Pats. Yes I yelled at the TV and then watched Eli throw an interception (I adore the Manning brothers by the way). I will have to say that I'm proud of my team, they hung with the pats to the very end and might have pulled it off if they had just a little more time. Hey you never know there could be a rematch if they both make it to the Super Bowl.
Oh and don't get me started on Tom Brady.
redchief replied: Unfortunately you can't be an Eagles fan and like the Giants... It's imprinted in the DNA of Philly fans that the only thing worse than a Giant is a Cowboy (sorry, fans... it is what it is ). That being said, no team should be able to do what the Patriots have done. Regardless of how you feel about their coach (the cheater), or Brady (the man who took Jessica Simpson back off the market), you have to be impressed that in this day and age anyone could put together such a talented team that no comers could defeat them in season play. That the Eagles came "this close" doesn't even count... The Pats didn't take them seriously at all and it showed. The Colts were second closest to beating them on the season, but failed to find a defense that could stand up to Brady's devastating aerial attack. If they don't find a way to keep the Pats on the ground, I don't see any team that can defeat them.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Oh it was impressive, but I don't have to be happy about it. I've always found it funny that whatever team the Giants play in the NFC East it's a rivalry game. Always been that way since I can remember. The Cowboys are another thing all together and I agree with you on that point Ed (sorry fans).
I also agree with you about the aerial game. The Pats can be beaten, but you have to nip them in the bud. That would be Brady. Yes he's a very talented QB and he has quite the team around him. The Giants were bringing the pressure last night and unfortunatley got seriously burned on that pass to Moss (can't stand him either).
That being said I don't know who can beat them. I would like to see the Colts do it. Regardless the playoffs are going to be very interesting this year.
Danalana replied: LUCK. It won them the Eagles and the Ravens games. The Colts handled them fine until they decided to screw up in the end. Yes, Brady is an awesome quarterback. Better than Manning? No. It took him 3 years to break Manning's record. I'd say they're pretty much equal. I just hate that the Patriots don't have any class. They're all full of themselves.
I think brady is cuter, but something about him bothers me. I think it's the 15 extra teeth he has in his mouth or something. And did I mention that he's full of himself?
Maddie&EthansMom replied: lalalalala I can't hear you!!!! lalalalalala
Sorry, Ed and Carrie Anne were y'all saying something??
luvmykids replied: And the fact he dumped his pg girlfriend for another woman?
Danalana replied: Well, they claim he didn't know until AFTER they had broken up. Still doesn't explain why he did ZILCH to help her during the pregnancy. Jerk
MomToJade&Jordan replied:
Don't remember.
Yeah Brady is not a stand up guy. So he broke Peyton Mannings record. I still think that Peyton is the better QB, not only for the way he plays, but the type of person he is off the field.
Danalana replied: *Hi5*
redchief replied: In my book (and in the statisticians as well), Manning is a better QB, even with a weaker team around him. That is the problem the Colts are faced with though. Luck has nothing to do with it. They have to make the Pats run. If they can stifle the NE passing game then they might have a chance.
Danalana replied: True. A typical Patriots/Colts game consists of taking turns scoring until time runs out It will be a good game, for sure.
Jackie012007 replied: all I have to say about the Patriots in CHEATERS...
GO BILLS! (even though you really suck!!)
Danalana replied: Apparently, they "misunderstood the rules", instead of cheating And last night, they misunderstood the rule about sticking your finger in someone else's eyeball.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: OMG what the heck was that and how did that guy get away with it? The announcer was like he probably had no intention of poking Jacobs in the eye and I was like um you do not put your finger inside someone elses face mask. I was just happy that Jacobs showed some restraint when it happened. There should have been at least a 15 yarder with that one and a possible ejection.
luvmykids replied: OH I missed that! WTH, he probably didn't "mean" to? Please, it's pretty hard to do unless you DO mean to!
Danalana replied: Oh yeah, he meant to. This is what I'm talking about when I say the Patriots have no class. If he had done that to me (and I was a big ol' dude), I probably would have taken his helmet off and beat him in the head with it. I can NOT stand them...them and LSU. And Auburn. Grrrrrrrr! It still makes me mad.
TheOaf66 replied: I will be very disappointed when they lose to the Packers in the Superbowl

Danalana replied: I honestly believe the Colts will beat them. A lot of the Colts' injured players are coming back for the first game, including Marvin Harrison Yep, I believe they will beat them.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I would like to see the Packers do that. I really like Brett Favre. Of course until my Giants fall I'll be rooting for them.
Danalana replied: I like Brett Favre too. I would support ANYBODY over the Patriots.
