Who is going to cheat and open
TANNER'S MOM wrote: Presents today?
I am trying to hold out and make the kids wait until tomorrow..but they are chanting just one just one.. I hope I can hold out!
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: My kids just opened 2 and are playing with them today. I think especially when they are young spreading them out makes them enjoy all of their presents a little more instead of just being overwhelmed by all of them.
kimberley replied: nope! Santa doesn't come to our house til they are sleeping so there are no presents to open anyways
3xsthefun replied: Since they will be opening presents at my grandma's later on this evening. They will have wait to open presents that are here tomorrow.
5littleladies replied: My kids get to open presents with their grandma tonight so as far as I know we will be waiting, but dh is such a pushover we will have to see if we make it till then,
absentnowpresentmom replied: When I was a kid, we we opened presents on Christmass Eve in the evening, and woke up to more presents from Santa Christmass morning. Santa didn't wrap presents either. Here at my house now though, we celebrate Christmass whenever the family can all get together. We have a lot of people working at jobs that require them to work holidays so we plan for a Saturday In Dec. or Jan when we can get together. My son's father has him for Christmass this year and I won't get him until Mon, so mon is when he'll get to open mine and next Sat. he will get to open from the rest of the family.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: That is how it is here too! There were never gifts under the tree until Christmas morning~it was always so magical that way~like they all just appeared! We do have a friend's dinner tonight so Tay will open one gift there and I have a feeling that Daddy is going to get his "clock" from her she is about to burst!!!
Kimberly~That little one still holding out huh? My mom went into labor with one of the kids last minute Christmas shopping, now I hope your sweet girl holds out till the 26th!
amymom replied: We exchange presents on Christmas eve. At night. Then Santa comes during the night and we open stockings and other stuff in the morning.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Family tradition states that we open one and only one present on Christmas Eve. Logan already tore into one, but that was because it came ripped in the shipping box and he saw what it was and had to have it. Very cute. However there are 3 other presents under the tree that have finger holes poked in them and about 5 are missing bows. LOL.
CantWait replied: We actually opened 1 gift on Thursday. We had movies to watch (dvds which we usually watch on the playstation), but dh got me a DVD Player which I've been wanting forever. So the kids might to open a gift from their Nana tonight, but that's it till tomorrow morning.
3_call_me_mama replied: Tonight is Christmas with the Inlaws at our house, so they have all that stuff to open. Plus we get tehm a book adn PJ's that they get to open on Christmas eve from us. When they go to bed the tree is empty and we they get up all teh presents are there and teh manger is in fornt of all teh presents and baby Jesus is in teh manger, he arrives when santa visits!
coasterqueen replied: We never put presents under the tree til late Christmas eve night, so they have to wait til morning. They'll have plenty of presents to open at their Papa's late this afternoon anyways.
