Who wants to buy something from - Mckaylee's school fundraiser??

Time to get your new year 2 year planner.
Or cookies
or chocolate
or they even have magazine subscriptions
mckayleesmom replied: This is the stuff she is selling. If anybody is interested..let me know.
It does help that they have a website to look at now.
luvmykids replied: I would, except that I have three fundraisers of my own to peddle
mckayleesmom replied: LOL...Ya..I was gearing it more towards those who don't have kids in school.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I'm not seeing the link for some reason
But how cool that they have websites now! It's about time.
Calimama replied: Where's the link??
My nephew is selling from Cherry dale.. or something like that. They have good stuff! I'm impressed this year, I remember when it was just cookie dough.
mckayleesmom replied: its http://www.cherrydale.com/shop/ for the stuff that they sell
Also...you can now register as a seller and send your loved ones emails and they can order and the credit goes to your child. That is really nice when you have family far away.
If anybody wants anything let me know and I will email you Mckaylee's page. I just got done setting it up.
Remember the old days when our grandparents just had to take a wild guess at what they were getting?.....
DillsMommy replied: Dylan's fundraiser stuff came home today.
boyohboyohboy replied: can I ask does everyone always feel obligated to do these fund raisers? I mean there are so many now, and the kids are not the ones who do it, and I would never let my kids go door to door now a days, but doesnt it seem wrong for the schools to do this?
also, I wonder how much money they really get from it, and how much do the kids bennefit from it?
mckayleesmom replied: When I was younger my mom didn't allow us to do it because of the door to door thing. The school actually asks on the flier that no door to door sales go on. This one just reccomends asking family and friends.
Cherrydale actually gives a good portion of their sales to the school...
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I think it's good for schools to have fundraisers. Obviously there are expenses that need to be met. I don't feel obligated to do them, nor would I send my kids door to door. However, I do send the stuff to work with my husband.
Maddie's school has a "Jog A Thon" and that is the only fundraiser they have all year, but it's huge and they make a lot of money off of it. We only ask good friends and family to donate towards Maddie's laps. It's so much fun for the kids to see how many laps they can run.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: It really must be that time of year, Alex came home with a fund raiser thing too.
MommyToAshley replied: Ashley has a fundraiser for school, for soccer, and for dance. Uggghhh! I HATE asking anyone to buy anything so I usually buy the minimum they need.
msoulz replied: I don't feel obligated nor do I pester friends and relatives unless I really think it is something they would like. I usually buy what I like and leave it at that. And my son never sells stuff. Although he did recruit his grandparents last year to donate blood, which was cool, but he got a prize for it.
