Whos child here loves taking meds?

ediep replied: uh, no! Jason runs away and has a fit if I try to give him medicine!

mummy2girls replied: Its funny because she will grab the medicine spoon from me, sit on the ground and take the whole meds without spilling. And if she does drop a drop she will lick it off the ground...She is so funny! Its wierd because she used to hide whenever i take out the meds and i needed the jaws of life to get her mouth open..LOL

loveydad replied: Oh no, I had a freind whos son loved his vitimans (the drop kind) > MY kids adore their gummy vites. (Tracy has ..pooh shaped ones or something)

My son whos 17 is bipolar and has stomach and seizure problems and is on like 10 different meds at this point. Yikes! Some of the meds are to contridict what the other meds are doing at this point.

Every night after bed she begs for "teething tabs". Those homeopathic Hylands tabs. She begs and gets really mad if we don't give them to her. It's wierd. Now when she was little, it was awful but now...she's all about the drugs.

A&A'smommy replied: OHHH Alyssa LOVES it tylenol, her congestion meds AND her antibiodic I have tried the first two but I'm allergic to her anitibiodic so I can't taste it, but dang the other two really do taste good!!! LOL maybe their not weird just different haha I love it!

Yep, any time I open the cabinet where we keep the meds Sophia complains that her "teef huwt" and she needs Hylands

She also loves to take her antibiotics, but we have to do a 10min ritual where we give all of the animals their medicine (sometimes milk in a syringe, sometimes we just pretend) and then she has to hold the syringe while we press the plunger. It takes forever! At least she doesn't fight us most of the time.

3xsthefun replied: Kaitlynn and Maegan both do pretty well taking their meds. But I don't think they love it.

Kaitlin'smom replied: Well Kaitlin used to take her pain meds well when ever I did give them to her but when she had to take anti-botices for the infection she had, she hated the stuff and it was a battle to get all of it in her, that stuff was so yucky it smelled horrible, was pink and very sticky once on the floor now she wants nothing to do with meds of any kind

kimberley replied: geesh, you guys are lucky! jacob and jade are awful with their meds. we had to give Jacob suppositories until he was two and jade thankfully hasn't been that sick (touch wood). poor James got used to it because of his allergies/ eczema as a baby but doesn't like it
